The property was very accessible to lake and down town.
We loved everything about our stay. Clean, friendly, perfectly located condo community.
The condo was neat and tidy, and fully stocked with just about everything you would need. The view of the lake and the short walk across the street to the beach was the biggest selling point.
Great location. Beds and pull out beds uncomfortable. Pretty clea. condo. “Heated” pool on site on the chilly side. Beach across the street but we travelled 5 minutes down the road to downtown elk rapids public beach with an awesome sand bar for the kids and play structure. Go eat at Siren Hall in downtown Elk rapids.
My husband, daughters, and I stayed here for three nights and it was beautiful. The beach is literally right across the street from the condos. The water is clean and clear. And we had a blast rock hunting. Downtown Elk Rapids was cute and quaint. There is plenty of shopping, places to eat, and the Elk Rapids Sandbar which has a beautiful beach with a playground. Great for a quiet vacation with kids.
I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was extremely happy. The condo was very clean and more up to date than I expected. The kitchen was very well stocked. The bathroom was very big and the tub was HUMONGOUS! The lake and beach were very nice (even if there wasn't much beach due to high amount of rain prior). The pool was very nice also. The only deterrent was that the beds were not too comfortable. The main bed mattress was hard and the pull out was lumpy. It wasn't the best sleep I have had, but the other positives made up for it. I would recommend the owners get bunk beds to go in the bedroom instead of the pull out (my kids are obsessed with bunk beds) and I think it would fit better there. When I first booked I hadn't heard much about Elk Rapids, but it is a very nice little town, but still close to Traverse City (about 15 minutes). In Elk Rapids they had a VERY nice beach and park. I would definitely come back!
