Elegant Oceanfront Condo, Indoor and Outdoor Pools | Mar Vista Grande - 1113

We love this unit and have now rented this condo two years in a row.

The unit was beautiful, well kept, up to date. Loved that it had a Keurig. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Outside furniture was very nice. It’s the first unit that I would say I would rebook . We have stayed at MANY and have not repeated the same unit.

Everything was wonderful but we were disappointed that soaps, toiletries and kitchen starters like paper towels or coffee filters were not provided. Those supplies are very helpful for travelers.

The condo was great. We really enjoyed staying there. Everything was perfect except there was no curtain on the sliding glass door in the livingroom. It created a glare on the tv. There were hooks, so obviously they use to have a curtain. Other than that, it was great.

Lindsey really did a beautiful job here. The property was beautifully updated and very well organized. It was so spacious. There was a keurig/coffee pot in one, hair dryer, even an air fryer. The little black makeup cloths were a slam dunk touch to me. Oh! And take notice to the thoughtful leather strap behind the door to hold the heavy door open while you load/unload your luggage. The storage room had beach chairs, umbrella, and a beach cart (I think there were a few toys too But we weren’t traveling with littles to pay enough attention). She had everything thoughtfully labeled in the cabinets, which were full of all the essentials. The view was amazing. I personally won’t reserve anything if I’m not beachfront where my bedroom also has a view. The beds were comfy and the decor was cozy. This did not disappoint. The building itself was well maintained. It sits next to Molly Darcy’s for an easy walk for food and public beach access was close to be able to use for our checkout day. Lindsey was very responsive and we even reserved our spring trip here already!

Both guest bathrooms had drainage problems in sink and showers. Light bulb in one of the guest bathroom (over mirror) was out. Otherwise Ok.

Beds and living room furniture very comfortable. Furniture and floor layout very nice (large windows in all 3 bedrooms, bathroom for every bedroom). However, corners on hallway and living room walls were heavily damaged (I'm guessing from luggage carts banging against them) -- this detracted from otherwise attractive condo. TVs in all 3 bedrooms were teeny tiny. Glass on wicker dining table on porch was broken; very disappointing as we had hoped to eat breakfast and lunch al fresco. Housekeeping left much to be desired. Wet towels from previous tenant were left in a red sack at our front door for two days (maybe longer if we hadn't called to complain). Extra pillows and linens were not organized; instead they looked like they were just tossed into master closet. No soap for washing hands, dishes, or clothes. One bonus: fast elevators.

Condo World and VRBO had a smooth easy process for registration and check out. The condo was very nice with a great view, balcony and furniture. Some ammenities were lacking but Condo World was very responsive and brought them the next day. There are some repairs needed in the unit such as sharp tacks or staples coming through the carpet at the entrance to the living room and master bedroom, the rubber seal coming away from inside the refrigerator door, the lock on the balcony door doesn't work and lighting in the master bathroom is very poor. Also the bath towels were extremely thin and scratchy. I'm sure these items could easily be corrected and we just worked around them. Overall a great building with good elevators, pools and parking and the location on the beach in North Myrtle is convenient and was not too crowded.
