    The unit has a nice location, and has potential. It was not disclosed until arrival that there was very significant leaking throughout the unit, humidity problems and broken furniture. We had buckets everywhere and when I arrived, there was a bucket and a large, commercial dehumidifier that obstructed access to one bathroom. Dirty brown water was leaking in 2 other bathrooms. The building/elevator were very old (significant visible rust) and my teenage son and friend (both almost 15) got stuck in the elevator requiring the fire department to get them out (it was not easy for FD, given it was so outdated). The emergency phone number inside the elevator was incorrect. (Also, a heavy shower head fell off on my family member’s heavy, we had unannounced repairmen visits, trouble with the refrigerator, and a bizarre late night phone call (waking us up) from a call center hired by the property manager.) During and after the trip, I requested and was promised information showing the elevator had been inspected and serviced. The property mgr has now blamed me for the elevator getting stuck saying I shouldn’t have allowed “young children” in the elevator. Although I was promised reports demonstrating the elevator was up to code and had been inspected recently, which the FD suggested was in doubt, I never received them. The was not the luxury unit, as advertised. I do not recommend this unit, nor would I trust the owners or “seaside vacations.” Bad experience.
