This Winter Park ski condo rental has 1,006 square foot unit is on the 3rd floor of the building and is a wonderfully comfortable 3 bedroom rental and in the upper corner of the building for additional privacy. Fully renovated February 2019 to sleep only 6 persons.
The living room area is nicely decorated with upscale furnishings, wood fireplace, TV and private deck with a view of the Fraser River.
Open to the main living room, the dining area has an art deco style that will seat 6 persons. The entire open living and dining area has hardwood flooring throughout as well. No air conditioning.
A fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, new wood cabinets and a central island cook top and small sitting area for 2 persons.
In the master bedroom you can relax in a king bed, have access to an attached bathroom and wake up in the morning to access the private deck to enjoy coffee.
A queen bed in the second bedroom in the common hallway closest to the living room. There are 2 twin beds in the third bedroom – great for children. The second full bathroom is accessible from the main hallway.
This unit is on the third floor, a few steps away from the free town shuttle stop but you can also walk to Main Street which is 2 blocks away to enjoy all the downtown restaurants, shops and outdoor events and activities.
The recreation center has a small children's area with games, flat screen TV and furnishings. The large open great room has vaulted ceilings, pool table with table and chairs, small kitchenette with expansive windows on either side of the gas fireplace, large flat screen TV, table and chairs and computer station with free Wi-FI. The locker rooms are equipped with tiled floors, bathroom stalls, showers and lockers. The main pool and spa area has been enclosed with large glass windows, indoor pool, 2 hot tubs and small sitting area with table and chairs. You may also access the large sundeck with comfortable lounge furniture and outdoor hot tub. The small workout area has a weight room with treadmill and stationary bike.
Clubhouse amenities: Due to regulations set in place by the local health department, local government or HOA policies, not all facilities at properties may be available for guest use. There may also be times when clubhouse facilities are closed due to maintenance services. Please refer to your specific vacation rental information. All clubhouse amenities are provided to guest complimentary and therefore there will be NO refunds when these facilities are closed or unavailable during a guest's stay.

Homeowner Association rules for this property:
Rental guests are not allowed to bring pets and any violation will be fined $200 per day. Smoking is not allowed in common areas including front decks and within 10 feet of the building. Smoking is allowed on the back decks if the sliding glass door is closed, you are considerate of the neighbors and smoking materials are extinguished carefully.
Property itself was great! Clean and great location. Unfortunately the heat was set at 50 when we arrived at 4 PM. The unit did not heat up to a comfortable temperature (68) until midnight. Given it was 5 degrees outside we weren’t happy to be inside freezing. We contacted maintenance and they said nothing could be done and let the property manager know afterwards so it wouldn’t happen to future renters with no response. I would not book again because were so uncomfortable our first night it wasn’t worth the money we paid for the whole first day to stay in the unit. If the heat was on at a tolerable temperature when we arrived it would have been a great experience and I would rent again!
We don’t know if it was noted well, but knowing it was on the 3rd floor specifically would have been great to know. We personally loved the place just hated having to lug all of our stuff up the steps to 3rd floor.
I have a similar 3bdr condo in Hi Country Haus, but it is rented long term at the moment. This condo has been renovated very nicely with the addition of an island in the kitchen and wine bar. Because of the renovation and the quite location on the river, I believe this is the nicest unit in HCH. I was very impressed!

We were very excited for our weekend stay in Winter Park. The property is nice, well-stocked, and recently updated and the on-line listing correctly described the amenities. The location is very convenient with lots of nearby stores, restaurants, and great hiking and biking options. River views are amazing. However, our stay was not pleasant at all due to several issues with management of the property: 1. On arrival our provided door code did not work. We called the management company and the person on the line had no way of resetting the code. Therefore we had to wait for a management person to arrive and let us in. The entire process took about 40 minutes that we spent waiting outside of the condo with 3 hungry kids who needed to use the bathroom. We were given an extra hour to check out the next day. 2. The provided internet code did not work, and again, the management company told us they had no way of resetting it until contacting the owners on Monday. Finally, after about 4 hours a person from management company stopped by to give us the right code (the first letter was not capitalized as provided to us in the instructions). 3. The heating in the unit was constantly working and set up on 78F. There was no way to turn it off or decrease the temperature. We again tried calling the management company's emergency line, left a voicemail message, but nobody called us back. We basically spent entire August night in a 78F degree heat. Opening the windows was only an option (and only provided a minimal relief) after 12:30am because there was a very loud rock concert going on in a nearby pub until that time. On the side note - It seems really wasteful to run heating on 78F all the time, regardless of the outside temperature 4. When we came back from our morning hike the next day the door code would not work again. Again, the management company had no way of resetting the code and the lady on the line told us that the code did not work because we were supposed to check out by 10am. When I mentioned that we were actually given until 11am she said she had no record of that in her notes and that there was an internet problem so she could not reset the code. We ended up waiting another 20 min for a management person to let us in with his code so we could check out. If you want to save yourself a headache of dealing with incompetent management company definitely look for another option!
