BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: Dog Policy: Two (2) Dogs max - 40 lbs or less are welcome with prior notice and a $150 pet fee (not included in reservation). Please notify staff before arrival. If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable dog deposit. Failure to do so will result in us charging your card for the entire amount authorized for damage.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: Two (2) passes maximum. The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner's Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

    Honestly this was a horrible experience! I would never recommend this property to anyone. It’s was hard to get out of the parking lot the beds felt like they were going to break. And the fact that there isn’t anyone on site everyday. They wouldn’t switch out the towels because we weren’t timeshare members. We had trouble with the door code we had to put the code in twice. I could go and on. I’m not sure how anyone could have a timeshare here. I sent the property management an email we left a day early.

    Wonderful first trip to Gulf Shores. Walking distance to a favorite; Lauria’s by the beach, with daily specials. A clean updated room, a well supplied kitchen, and perfect spots for relaxing—the window seat and the porch for a night cap. Definitely will return..

    This is a great little condo in a good location for my wife and I's memorial day weekend stay. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed in it. Short of being beach front, the location is great. directly across the street form public beach access and the back road behind the condo allows you to by-pass the Hangout Intersection and traffic.

    My wife and I loved this little condo just a street away from the beach! Our stay was great, the only hiccup we ran into was that we needed a parking pass and the property management company that is on site wouldn’t answer their phone and they were closed on Tuesday? Just thought that was odd but we were able to get a parking pass eventually with no problems after that. Overall, we had a great experience and loved that it was dog friendly to our little fur baby! I would absolutely book this property again.

    We couldn't get a parking permit for 2 days because the office was closed. The neighbors gave us one on Tuesday but not before we got a warning ticket on our windshield. Also, the TV in the living room only worked the first two day's. Called the cable company but could never get it figured out for the rest of the trip.

    Everything was easy to book and find, the property was adorable with lots of little custom touches. We loved the octopus desk in the bedroom and the mosaic beach in the kitchen as well as the mermaid counters. Adorably decorated and very close to the beach. The only negative was not controllable- we just happened to have the first blizzard in many years show up in the middle of our trip so we had to leave early to ensure we could get home in time. Lauria’s is just a few blocks away and has amazing food and music every night- definitely check them out if you’re in the area. We would love to come again when the weather is a bit better!

    Very nice place! Had a great time and its location to everything made it an enjoyable walk to most things. Pool and hot tub were nice. Overall pretty clean, but with being dog friendly, the couch and rug in the living room do smell a bit. Since it was just my dog and I, we didnt hang in the living room so wasnt a problem., but would be if someone was going to sleep out there.

    Upon arrival A/C broken but repair man arrived shortly after to fix. Beds uncomfortable and be sure to bring your own pillows as those in condo offer no support. Other than sleeping conditions a good stay.

    Perfect location close to the beach and attractions. Upon arrival when we opened the door the heat was hotter than outside. The thermostat read 95 air set on 65. We waited outside in the heat for over 2 hours. We were set up with a portable air unit. That night the temperature was 80 and a second portable unit was provided. The temperature would get cold during the night but around 76 during the day. The bedroom and the barhroom stayed warm. The pool was nice but also very warm, like bathwater. Beds were comfortable decor was nice. Icemaker did not work so we bought ice. Would have been grear 5 star if not for the air conditioning problems. I hope they fix this before the next guests check in.

    It was dirty, rugs were old and had sand burrs in them One of the beds sounded like it was going to fall down, we looked under it to see what was wrong and the floor was filthy. Found Bobbie pins and hair clip on the floor. Also found a bottle of Malibu Rum (3/4 full) behind the recliner. All the papers in the binder telling about the place was dated 2012 so some didn’t even exist anymore. The INSIDE of the window over the bench was dirty. The shower had a wad of hair at the drain. All of the other places there had blinds and we had cheap shades so if your lights were on people could see through. The pool needed cleaned! Had yellow around the steps and pool bottom. We had to leave a day early because the air conditioner quit working. To pay what we paid to stay in a place like this is inexcusable. I’ve stayed in Gulf Shores the last 4 summers. This has totally turned me away from ever staying again. We also had to wait until 4 pm to check in. We arrived at 2 pm.and I was told I had to wait until 4 or pay an extra $50. The man who parked next to us said they always let him in at 2 pm. I wouldn’t have minded if it was because the place was being cleaned but obviously that wasn’t the case since check out was at 10 am. This totally ruined my vacation and I would like some kind of a refund, especially for the day we left early because of the air conditioner. I have pictures I took and I’m more than happy to forward them to you if you like. I would like to hear from someone.

    The location is fantastic and It's a short walk to a beautiful beach. Unfortunately, the complex is old and run down. The pool was cloudy and unappealing. We arrived late after a long drive from Michigan and wanted to sleep. We had just got into bed when we saw a large cockroach walk across the wall. Gross!!! I immediately wanted to cancel our stay but we had no other options. The management company (Beachball Properties) wouldn't return my phone calls or refund my money. We saw two large cockroaches that first night but nothing after. Additionally, the beds are uncomfortable and we found a wad of black hair covering the shower drain. I would never ever stay here again.
