The property is wonderful!

We didn’t have a direct view of the ocean, but could see right of the balcony. It was an easy walk to the beach and all the pools. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back and recommend!

Great place to stay close to the beach

Clean room and easy check in. Had issues locking and unlocking the door and the thermostat was set at 70, couldn’t be adjusted. Otherwise a cute vacation spot to stay!

Great view just above the neighboring villas. Nice large soaking tub. Clean and comfortable.

Bed was mostly broken, but everything else was in working order

The ceiling above the bed area is all discolored and could be painted. Also the lazy River is amazing and could use so more speakers especially towards the area when you are floating past the bay where it is very noisy near the pumps.

Reviewer Comments: I stayed at Destin West as a kid & in 33 now and to this day it remains one of my favorite vacation memories so when I rediscovered Destin west as an adult I knew that’s where we were staying! I can not think of enough positive words to describe my experience! The pool areas are amazing and beautiful and open late, anytime I communicated with the host they were extremely pleasant and prompt and SUPER accommodating and never made me feel like a burden.(I’ve had that issue in the past). The condo was clean & perfect for my son and I. It was week in absolute paradise and I hated to leave! 100000000/10 recommend!

This is a great place to stay. The staff was awesome. They fixed a problem that I wasn’t aware of, the tv. Already know which of their condos I want to rent next vacation.

My teenage daughter and I stayed for spring break and the accommodations were perfect for us. We have stayed in this facility before, so we were familiar with the beach, pools, hot tubs, lazy river, etc. This unit is conveniently located in the middle of everything, but still retains your peace and privacy. We parked on the 4th floor of the garage, so it was a short walk to our room. The room was clean and tidy upon arrival and the hosts were both attentive and responsive when the refrigerator decided to stop working briefly. We were brought a generously sized min-fridge to keep our perishables until the issue was resolved.

We enjoyed our stay. The room, property, and pools were very clean.

I stayed for 6 nights, figuring out the TV’s were frustrating, the room is conveniently located near parking garage. Locating a luggage rack was next to impossible. I was traveling alone for the first time ever. So the multiple trips to carryall of my luggage and groceries was a big chore.

Right by the beach but not fancy. There are lot of things to do at the beach within walking distance. We are overall pleased with the place location. That said, this place was advertised as a villa. It’s not a villa, just condominium apartments. Huge difference!. I would have not booked it for the price I paid knowing it was a condo. Vrbo fee was also quite high. Vrbo claimed you’d get one free activity every day with your stay. There was only one activity available and it was just one ticket what we would get. That was also misleading. So in a nutshell. The location is very nice. The Villa is actually a condo and it’s just ok. The description of what you get was very misleading . The vacation was good but I’m extremely unlikely to use Vrbo again due to these facts.

Over all a great place . Nice and clean. And everything we needed was in the room. Only thing was the toaster did not work.

Loved the use of multiple pools, location of beach and lazy river.I would definitely recommend new chairs get purchased for balcony - thankfully we noticed they were rusted before ruining any clothes, but our beach towels are trashed from them (didn’t feel comfortable using your white bath towels).
