Stayed Jan 9, 2026The advertisement for this condo said 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds, but there was only 2 queen and 2 twin beds. There was a foul smell every time we walked into the condo from the carpet. The carpet was dirty with stains and had not been vacuumed. The cabinets in the kitchen had huge gaps. The kitchen wall had a huge piece of wallpaper missing. And the last night of our stay, a mouse ran into the bathroom when our daughter was using it. Then it ran into every room right towards us. It was 11 pm and we felt it was too late to call maintenance. None of us slept and we had to drive home the next day.

Stayed Jun 11, 2025The view is unparalleled, that is the best part of staying at this development. However, the condo needs a reno and update. Furniture is very worn and you really can only cover a bathroom in so much caulk before you have to tear it all out. Everything was very clean and there were plenty of towels and kitchen implements. The bottom line... You get what you pay for and this is a money saving option, not a luxury accommodation.

Stayed Jul 28, 2024Overall very happy with our stay at Deer Ridge. The views are absolutely incredible from the property and no hiking required. You are 20 mins from Gatlinburg and close to a lot of the amazing hikes of the Smoky Mountains. The indoor pool is very nice right at the resort. The unit itself is older and dated, and could use some updates like new mattresses on the beds. Overall we were very pleased with our family vacation here. Please check out Trish's diner on the main road as it has fantastic southern food. And if you come back to Deer Ridge before sunset, you'll get to see a beautiful sunset from your balcony or the pool deck.
