The room had not been cleaned when we arrived at 7pm. We contacted the property manager and we had to leave while the sent a cleaning crew. We actually checked in around 10 pm when the check in time was at 4. The pictures online do not show the actual state of the property. We only stayed because we could not get our money back and the proximity to the beach

The location of this home is why we made the best of it. You walk across the street and you're on the beach within minutes. However, we had several issues with this place. First, it was not listed as a dual home. You only get the bottom half. We were not expecting anyone else to be there. The realtors said the owners of the home were there for the weekend and the realtor did not know they would be there. We were delayed getting to the property and had received the property guide, but it had no information about how to unlock the doors. Once in the home it smelled highly of air fresheners. I noticed later when we unplugged some that the home naturally smelled like mildew. There was a carpet beetle in one of the beds and a few more on the table and in the windows along with dead gnats. The flooring has soft spots in the bathrooms and going into the main master. There was pink mold on the bottom of the master shower curtain. The fridge beeped constantly and even had maintenance look at it and it continued to beep the whole duration of our stay. Then it went through a defrost and water leaked all over the floor. There is a pool, but the inside concrete is so discolored it made the pool look green. The pool was listed as heated, but it is not. We never used it. The rocking chairs on the front porch were dirty. We had to clean them ourselves. You can hear every move of people upstairs. If you have a family bigger than 3 you can't sit in living room together there's no couch.
