Crescent 108 - Gulf Front, Free Beach Service, Community Pool, Hot Tub, Fitness!

This condo is in a great location/condo community. There were however many disappointing issues. Starting off, I called 3 times to get a front gate code from Ocean Reef with no luck . One rep. told me they don't keep the gate closed this time of year so we didn't need one. We have stayed at the Crescent before and knew we needed a code. Fortunately for us, another couple on our plane knew the code and gave it to us. We did need it when we arrived. Many things were disappointing with this condo starting out with the extremely large wad of hair in the master shower drain and the mold on the ceiling of the master shower. The glass tables were dirty when we arrived and the floor was very dirty. All our socks were black after walking on the floor. The kitchen had very little flat ware and very little glasses and dishes. One of the plates in the cupboard had food and dirt on it. Several glasses and plates were chipped. The small amount of both of these made it necessary to wash flatware and dishes a couple of times a day. The dishwasher was not bolted to the cabinet at the top and every time we opened it, both racks came flying to the front and almost flew out! We had to make sure and stop them every time. There was a missing rung on one of the ladders of the bunk beds which made it extremely difficult and dangerous for a 6-year old to get out of the top bunk - a definite safety issue! The door handle on front bathroom was broken. Very disappointing!

The location of the Crescent has always been our favorite for vacationing. Close to restaurants and the grocery store. This particular room had plenty of space for our group but disappointed in the cleanliness of this condo. You couldn’t walk barefoot without your feet turning black. The bathrooms need some deep cleaning and TLC. Maybe clean the walls off as well.

Check-in was easy. The property is NOT as it appears in the photos. The photos look nice and clean but the unit is in severe need of a deep cleaning. We were very disappointed because we love The Crescent. We will not utilize this particular unit again.

No bathroom in toilet room in main bedroom. Toilet in main bedroom did not work! No doorknob to back bedroom door. No fan blades in bunk room. Needs a MAJOR deep cleaning!!!! Different maintenance sent out everytime and they each said something different, no communication at all!

When we arrived at this property it was adorable. Its just as the photos show. It is peaceful and beautiful to look at. The staff were friendly and the condo itself is ideal. The decor, such as the flowers should be replaced. They are very outdated and dusty. It was not clean. The floors had not been mopped and there was an odor in the master bath. There was also a pack and play in the closet that we thought to be the source of the odor. It turns out that the guest prior to us either had a dog in that closet or urinated in the closet themselves. This odor was so bad that we could not use this closet to store four guests clothes, shoes, or suit cases for a week. We had to omit the bath tub and the storage in the laundry room for storage for our belongings. I sent several messages and they sent housekeeping who mixed what smelled like lemon scent pine sol so the odor changed from jobsite portable urinal to just intolerable. We kept the door closed then they brought a fan with a light. This circulated the smell into the bathroom and bedroom and you could not close the bathroom door due to the cord for the fan. Two nights and two and a half days. It was disgusting and terrible. We stayed away as long as possible. So much for catching a nap in the middle of the day or being able to enjoy the king sized bed. Unless they remove the sheetrock from the walls and the padding from under the floor I would never recommend staying here because that smell is abominable.

Had a great time in Crescent 108. Plenty of room for our family and a great pool area. Easy to get to the beach.

The pool and beach are great. We have been staying here for years; this unit was dirty and outdated.

We loved our stay at the Crescent. The only issue we had was with the maintenance staff. They were rude and threatening on more than one occasion. There should be clear direction on beach access.

Had a wonderful time staying at the Crescent! Will be back next time.
