We were looking for a place to stay close to Schuss Mountain so we could downhill ski and take meal breaks at lodging close to the mountain and this condo met those needs. We were located on the golf course so we were able to cross country ski on the golf course too on our trip. Since it had a small kitchenette with a small mini fridge so we could heat up food and didn’t have to eat out. The fridge is very small and only has room for one tall half gallon size container so most items had to lay on their sides in the fridge. The condo is small but had everything we needed with a bathroom with shower, small bedroom and living room with electric fireplace. The condo was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, body lotion and toothpaste. It also had ample paper towel, toilet paper, dish soap, napkins, garbage bags, coffee, cream, and a variety of tea bags. It was a short drive to the parking lots by the yellow or pink lifts to ski, but too far to walk to the slopes.
We had a problem with the refrigerator and they came out and fixed it right away.
The area is very nice. The fall colors were somewhat of a disappointment but we had a good time exploring the area. Highly recommend Glacial Hills for a good hike in the woods. Short’s Brewery is awesome. Nice drive to Gaylord and Elk Rapids/Torch Lake area also. The condo was well furnished but the futon is very small to sit on and not comfortable at all if you need to sleep on it.
Really nice, updated condo, nice location, nice view on the golf course. Close to wineries and convenient to Charlevoix, Petoskey and Traverse City. Host was very easy and pleasant to work with. Will definitely stay here again!
