This was an excellent property. Conveniently located to Big Sky Resort. Comfortable. Quiet. Nice neighborhood to walk around in as well.

We had a fantastic stay at this property in Big Sky. The space was thoughtfully designed, very clean, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is great with convenient access to the mountain. Technically it is ski-in/ski-out, but it’s a bit of a stretch to describe it that way, as getting to and from the slopes can require a little extra effort. That said, it was still very manageable and didn’t take away from a great ski trip. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily return.

The “ski in/ski out” description was a bit of a stretch. To reach the village, we had to take a long trail to a small lift. That part wasn’t too bad, but getting back meant skiing along the side of the road. When we arrived, the place was very cold. We later learned there was a problem with both the heating and the gas fireplace. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. The toilet ran constantly, the shower didn’t drain properly, and there was mold on the walls. The kitchen sink was loose and wouldn’t shut off correctly. By the time we left, none of the TVs were working.Overall, the property felt poorly maintained and was not very clean.

The units is very nice. No complaints. However...the use of the term ski in/ski out is used generously here. The path to ski to or from the ski lifts is an un-groomed trail thru the woods pushing your self along, including multiple uphill sections. Utterly exhausting. Coming back you have to ski on the road, with traffic, pushing your self along and, again, up hill part of the way. And say good by to your wax if the road has been recently plowed, as in our case. Did I mention, you still have to take an access lift to get to the actual ski lifts. FYI, The access lift closes at 4pm sharp, and it's a good 20-30 minute hike to get to them, so you end up loosing at least half an hour of ski time. But it is doable for experienced skiers. FYI, if you miss the 4pm cutoff, you're screwed. My real gripe is with the management company though. They are unknowledgeable about the unit and very unaccomedating. When asked, (days in advance) for an extra set of bedding we were simply told no. When asked if the shuttle service would come to this property they didn't know and when we couldn't figure out how to use the fire place we received multiple unclear text messages. (I'm a construction professional so I tend to be good at figuring out this kind of thing) Turns out the fireplace is controlled by an alternate thermostat (neither labeled) that has to be set in relation to the heat thermostat. Eventually a nice service guy came by but even he seemed confused by it for a while.

Communication was good. Space is perfect for 2 people. May be a bit crowded for more than 2. Clean and convenient to the mountain. Listed as a ski-in/ski-out. That is a bit of a stretch. It would take much effort to get to a lift. You would need to cross roads, if not snow covered you would have to remove your skis/snowboard. We chose to drive to the mountain base. It is a short drive

Communication was great. Property was nice. Non ski access to the Villiage and Town Center was tough with no car as it's outside of the public shuttle area.

Amazing location, Easy to ski-out, ski-in is a little more arduous. The giant soaking bathtub was my favorite part. Would stay again.
