Stayed Oct 2, 2025We had an amazing 3-night, 4-day stay as our New York and Austin teams came together here. The place was cozy, clean, and perfect for group gatherings. We enjoyed relaxing evenings, clear starry skies at dawn, and the breathtaking natural scenery of the Great Smoky Mountains. It was a truly comfortable and memorable stay for everyone — a great spot for both teamwork and peaceful rest. Highly recommended!

Stayed Dec 26, 2024If you love mountain coasters, this place is for you. The drive up here is harrowing! Don’t attempt it in the dark on the first run or 2. Some comments referenced the steep drive which I took to mean the driveway or typical mountain roads. It’s several miles up the mountain on narrow roads without any road shoulder, guardrails, or street lights. Going off the road would be a drop to death. Be prepared for lots!! of traffic to get in and out of Gatlinburg and the national park. The distance may be close, but the steep road and traffic add significantly more to the drive. The on-call service person was responsive to our texts for more towels and fixing the heat. Once the heat was fixed, the temperature was difficult to balance between the loft and the living level. There were no hand towels nor bathmats, so we had one towel per person for the week which would be ok but there is no washer/dryer. More towels were delivered upon request. It would be nice if there was a chest of drawers in the master bedroom. Overall, it’s a quaint, clean place to stay with nice hikes in the Smoky Mountains.

Stayed Jul 8, 2024My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Our favorite part was the frequent bear sightings! Although, when we arrived for our stay here and started placing our belongings into our room, we noticed that the beds looked like they were slept in. I notified the owner immediately and she responded instantly, came to clean and even gave us our cleaning fee back. We also didn’t realize that there was a community pool, which was a nice surprise. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969It was very nice, loved the house. The outdoor deck was absolutely nice and it rained a little so it was peaceful. We enjoyed our breakfast and morning coffee out there. It’s up high on a mountain so drive very careful.

Stayed May 24, 2024Condo was clean and in the mountains. Did have a bear that frequented the condo sidewalk/parking lot daily. Little close. We did have to buy our own hand soap for the bathrooms and Kleenex but otherwise clean and cozy.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed here for two nights during our visit to the Smokies. What a welcome, quiet place to return to after spending our days hiking in the park. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room to spread out. My son had a private BR with his own bathroom and my husband and I had the en suite. The collection of books about the park trails helped us decide which ones to take. Downtown Gatlinburg is about a 10-minute ride down winding mountain roads (so be prepared to take it slow). It’s a touristy spot with many restaurants, gift shops and attractions. Lovely area and one of the nicest national parks we’ve ever visited.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969In my opinion, the best features about this property are the patio and the view. If you plan to spend several days at Ober Mountain the location is nearby. We had several minor issues/concerns that came up during our five day stay that were not at all addressed. *Water filter leaking in the fridge*No hangers for clothing throughout the condo (listed in amenities)*Lamps with bulbs out (no replacement available)*TV remote without working batteries (no replacement available)

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The condo is very nicely updated. We had six in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The deck was a great place to start and end the day. Location was central for the National Park and town. Be aware the drive up is a bit steep and narrow.
