First of all the views were fantastic. But....the condo needs updating. The bathroom tub faucet ran all the time not just a drip. Needs repair. Drain should be cleaned out. The water didnt drain properly. The shower curtain is plastic and felt slimy. A cloth one would be much better. The vent below the tv in living area is fithy! The sliding door to balcony off the Living area was so hard to open and close, needs good cleaning and some WD40. Kitchen cabinets are old. Mattresses could be more comfortable. We will mostly not stay here again.
Pros: location!! Walk to the ocean as the condo is right on the beach Balcony view: fantastic view of the ocean, Ocean City and the bay from the 18th floor on a double sized balcony Nearby places: we went to Bill in the Beach for drinks, Liquid Assets for dinner and Lyndon’s for breakfast, all within a block of the condo. Also Ocean City Yoga has a class at 91st street either on the beach or at the princess royale hotel depending on the weather. The week we were there it was on Tuesday. The whole process of checking in and communication was tremendous. They left you a small starter pack with toilet paper etc which was a nice touch. Cons: the place is very outdated. Beds were pretty good, shower and curtain seemed fairly new as did the fridge and stove. Rest of the place was old and run down. Closet door in the bedroom was broken, bathroom vanities must be 20+ years old. Couch in the living room was awful so I highly doubt it could be used as a sofa bed. No curtains on the windows in the living area. There were blinds in the bedroom which was good because the lights of the city were really bright. Overall I would not rent this again because of the general run down condition but then again it was half the price of a comparable redone unit in the same condo. We hoped to spend most of our time outdoors anyway but our weather wasn’t great.
Very smelly like a bunch of dogs, don’t rent this if you are allergic to pets. Sand and dirt all over the floors. In the living room and dining room there isn’t any curtains. People can see right through the apartment. Rusted out microwave and not useable. Refrigerator and dish washer are brand new. Bed linings are dirty I had to wash them. 3.00 for any wash and 3.00 for a dry. Great view but everything is old and stained. 70 bathroom sink tops and the base of the sinks are fraying off onto the floor from water. Rust on ceilings and all the vents where filthy dirty. New stove and new Kerig. Old dishes and utensils some rusted. Shower curtain is molded and tub runs continuously. Turn the bathroom fan on and by night it will actually work. All that being said if you can get through all of what I posted the vacation was great we went to the beach we where right there and the pool was open until 10pm .
The rental has beautiful views . The beach area is nice. Like on a previous review it does need updated and does not have many utensils . The bed is very comfy .
Nice bedroom. Rest of unit was subpar.
The view was to die for! Absolutely breathtaking! The unit was well kept. However, there was a few things that could be improved. Such as the shower curtain. It was so slimy that I didn’t even want to touch it! The kitchen was good but to let the next person know…. There is no mixer, I needed one for making mashed potatoes! ? The coffee maker is a keurig. So you will need k-cups! There was also no mop for the place, which is very much needed especially with kids. There is a laundromat in the building on the first floor. I could def. Stay there again!
We loved our stay. The view was amazing. The room was clean and comfy. It was stocked with all we needed. Check in and out was very easy. We did however have a problem with the door lock. We couldn't lock it and had to stay in the room for the day until we got a call the next day to help fix it. I wish they would have fixed it sooner. The wifi never did work but that didn't matter to us. All in all it was a very nice stay. Id definitely recommend this room to a friend.
Easy
We absolutely LOVED our stay! Location and views are priceless. You cannot go wrong with this place 2/3 people is perfect. It was 3 adults getting away for a quick beach trip and this place did not disappoint. The pool was a nice bonus too. It’s our 2nd time staying here!
Can’t wait to go back! Loved everything about this place!
We were looking for an affordable place to stay in oc that offered three beds so my teenage sons don't have to share a bed. This place was perfect, with the 2 beds in the bedroom for the kids & the fold out couch in the living area for us. The fold out is not the most comfortable but a topper would probably help. The unit was clean for our stay. The building is old, but the condo is decorated cute. If you are looking for something fancy, this isn't it. But if you are looking for a beachy stay with a view for a family that has outgrown hotel rooms, then I highly recommend this condo!
We enjoyed a three-night stay in this condo in June of 2022. The property manager even contacted us before our stay to alert us of the pull-out couch being broken and offered an inflatable air mattress, but we politely declined that. What we loved about this place was the view (although we did not really sit on the balcony due to having 3 small children), the security guard stationed at the lobby level, and the proximity to the beach (we did not have to cross any street to get to it, which was nice)! The kitchen was a great size for us, and we appreciated having the Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Some things that could be improved include the following: the mattresses on the beds could be updated or at least a pillow-top could be added to them to make them comfier, check-in time could be earlier, and the dishes and cutlery could be improved. Overall, it was a great value and we would stay here again!
It was quaint, had all the necessities of a vacation and I loved the balcony view. I have to also mention how clean it was! So refreshing. Unfortunately, I thought the mattress was hard as a rock and because of this I wouldn’t stay here again without my own mattress topper.
Property was OK, but barely. It's very clearly a condo where an elderly person passed away and has been rented out by family. Dishes, toaster, stove, bathroom etc are all from mid 80's. TV is a 60 dollar costco special. Worst of all is the booking site, borderline criminal scam. The fee's were almost 50% of the entire cost. NO WIFI. Called and vacasa blamed it on building. Building staff said everything was fine and tested with office wifi which worked, just unit. You are FORCED to purchase a 45 dollar parking permit after booking. In 40 years of traveling I've never once stayed anywhere where parking wasn't included.100 dollar cleaning fee and yet the previous renters dirty towels were left outside unit for nearly 2 days. Various stains, A/C duct had fuzz, sand in room which easily should have been vacuumed. Wire running along wall over door. Also the unit is BARE. No hand soap, detergent, towels, anything.
