It is also the only ski resort that features naturally separated terrain, allowing beginners, intermediates, and experts to ski and ride on their own distinct areas of the mountain. Its central location (situated between Breckenridge/Keystone to the east and Vail to the west) makes it ideal for the guest who wants to get out and enjoy other resorts as well. With 2433 acres of ski able terrain, Copper Mountain is the biggest and least crowded mountain resort area in Summit County, Colorado. Despite being the biggest, it has the least amount of lodging units available which is the main reason for Copper's uncrowded lifts and runs. With its naturally divided ski terrain that separates skiers by ability across the mountain, Copper has been called 'the most nearly perfect ski mountain in the United States' by the Forest Service. It's also known as the Local's Favorite. Perhaps that's due to Copper's long, steep mogul runs, or its ample above-timberline open bowl skiing. You can get your skis out of your heated ski locker located on the first floor and be at the American Eagle Lift within a minute.

This condo is well appointed and perfect for a couple. We had everything we needed and the owner was very responsive. I definitely recommend this one!
After a nightmare trip up I70 and making it a day late; the management (Marcella) was so helpful helping me rebook and extend my stay, she made a nightmare vacation into a dream vacation. The location of the condo is wonderfully centered in the village at the base of the mountain and a great view of the half pipe. The Condo itself was very cozy and great to come back to after hitting the slopes all day.... I left my Northface backpack in the closet and Marcella was even kind enough to drop it off at my condo in South Denver. HIGHLY recommend the condo and the management.
We enjoyed our stay. Not as many setups in the kitchen as some places we’ve stayed (no coffee) but otherwise a great place to stay!
The condo is conveniently located and communication was great. The bed was comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay at this unit in Passage Point. We have stayed in another unit in this same complex so in comparison this particular unit was quite sparse with amenities. Although the unit was clean enough and comfortable we might suggest to look at adding a few nice things for guests, items that an owner might like for themselves too such as artwork on the walls, stock the kitchen with more useful supplies and provide some decent toiletries in the bathroom. Perhaps a deep cleaning (look at the bathtub) and some maintenance on the unit could bring it to a higher level (how about professionally printing the handwritten signs posted around?). The unit is hot during the summer so we suggest ceiling fans to promote airflow. The dishwasher leaked water on the floor so we left a note to hopefully notify the maintenance staff.
close to everything .Only thing bad is sofa sleeper in living room feels like sleeping on springs with a sheet
We just loved the location. I am a non skier, so being able to watch the slopes from the condo was great. I will definatley rent from Marcella again!
This unit is clean and well appointed. The location is excellent for both mountain base activities and the mountain activities views. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. Keys and instructions arrive in the mail timely so you drive straight to the condo with zero time invested in a check in process. Total convenience! Passage Point is great. The hot tubs and heated pools are big and inviting after a day of Colorado activities. The work-out room is clean and has several good machines. The basement parking lot is secure and roomy for an underground lot. As a bonus, it's even heated. All things considered the price was reasonable, the owner was responsive and accommodating, and I would definitely stay here again.
This unit is clean and well appointed. The location is excellent. It's a very short walk to the best restaurants, shops, and attractions in Copper Mountain. The view from the balcony is awesome--you can see everything that is going on in Copper Mountain and can even take in music at the many summer concerts a few hundred yards away. An added bonus: on summer Saturdays, CM puts on a fireworks display, and the balcony at this unit offers front row seats. Passage Point is great. The hot tubs and heated pools are big and inviting after a day of Colorado activities. The work-out room is clean and has several good machines. The basement parking lot is secure and roomy for an underground lot. As a bonus, it's even heated. The only reason I don't give the unit 5 stars is because the bed was not very comfortable. The mattress is obviously cheap. It sagged in the middle, which resulted in a poor night's sleep. Other than that, everything was excellent. I would still return, especially for the price.
Love staying at Passage Point at Copper Mountain. It was very nice to look at pictures before booking and making sure this is the condo you want. The time from researching to checkout was smooth and flawless. We decided to head out a day early. I made a phone call to see if we could get in early and she said go ahead you have there key. Will more than likey pick this condo again.
