Tennisplace A31- This comfy two bedroom condo at Tennisplace on Sanibel Island will make your next vacation, or work stay on this beautiful island, a comfortable and seamless one. With everything you need on site and included with your rental, such as a fully stocked kitchen and supplies for your stay, you can simply check in and get right to your vacation! With extremely close proximity to the Sanibel Causeway, guests will also not need to deal with unnecessary travel times on and off the island as Tennisplace is located on the very first turn off after entering Sanibel Island, Sextant Drive.



The Space:

The condo itself is a two bedroom, one and a half bath, floor plan. The master and guest bedrooms are located at the far end of the condo from the front door and each boast a queen bed and two twin beds, respectively. The half bath is located adjacent and en-suite to the master bedroom while the full bath is located in the hallway of the unit. The living room is spacious with a flat screen TV and sleeper sofa, perfect for sleeping additional guests.



The kitchen is fully stocked and includes everything you need to cook the second you arrive on island. The patio is located off of the front door and overlooks Sanibel Marina and San Carlos Bay, along with multiple canal systems. It is a sunrise oriented view. This unit is located on the second floor and guests will need to climb two small double sets of stairs to access the unit, as this community does not have an elevator system. There is a large pool on site, as well as communal laundry rooms, and tennis courts that are available for guest use.



Guest Access:

Guests may access the condo, pool, tennis, and washer and dryer rooms/laundry on site on an as available basis.



Other Things to Note:

Guests must sign a rental agreement after making their reservation

A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 will apply for reservations cancelled prior to the cancellation policy window. This fee covers our credit card processing fees on a refunded deposit payment.

We are available as often as needed but provide guests the privacy they desire to enjoy an uninterrupted vacation

    Stairs were an issue for my friend. The view of canal was wonderful. Saw manitee and dolphins swimming by.

    The condo complex is lovely and in great condition. The location is so accessible… Easy on and off the island. The property management people were extremely responsive and cooperative.The condo unit…not so much The carpet was filthy, and the vertical blinds in both bedrooms were broken and falling apart.The property management people were on the ball and new blinds were installed on Sunday and carpet cleaned on Monday. Overall, the condo is shabby. The vinyl floor in the kitchen area is torn and stained and it’s probably been there since the 70s. The upholstery on the furniture needs to be cleaned.With the cost of this condo unit on Sanibel, I expected top-notch… My expectations were not met. This is really sad because it is a beautiful location ……without a doubt.

    We spent a week at Tennisplace on Sanibel. The location is first driveway as you come onto the Island so we didn't have to deal with lines of traffic as we came & went from Island. It shares a driveway with the boat launch and a small park. We took our books & beach chairs to the Park & watched boat traffic coming & going...We walked to Lighthouse Cafe one morning for breakfast (about 15 minute walk) The Sanibel Captiva Chamber of Commerce is almost directly across the road so we visited there first day & got info about bike rentals, places to eat, things to do. Another morning we drove to Over Easy Cafe on far end of the Island for breakfast, then explored the Island on the way back. The Island is very walkable & has lots of paved & unpaved pathways to follow. Pedestrians have right of way at crosswalks so no problem navigating. Dinner at Gramma Dots was delicious. We were there end of January so visitors & tourists just starting to arrive for the season. Overall the Island was quiet and laid back...just what we were looking for.

    Great location with everything we needed for the week we stayed on the island. The exterior of the building has been freshly painted and the canal view is lovely. Unfortunately, the interior needs help. The living room carpet has multiple large stains and the unit has a musty smell that persisted, despite leaving the windows open and purchasing a scented candle.
