It was very unpleasant stay with a good location. Sagging mattresses, dusty carpet, lack of bedding items, broken microwave etc. Vacasa customer service is the WORST
From the moment we walked into this lovely and comfortable dwelling, we felt at home. The condo itself was very welcoming, but it was the view of the sparkling lake that has stayed with me. i have been to Tahoe many times, but this is the first time I have stayed by the lake. Now, it’s the only place I want to be! In addition to the incredible view and beautiful grounds, the swimming pool was amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a pool fed by thermal springs. The temperature was perfect, and the water was wonderfully clean without smelling like chlorine. Management was very responsive to any questions or issues we had. If I had any complaint at all, it would be that the bedroom upstairs were a little warm (we were there at the end of August). There was no ac but they did provide fans. The location was very close to town and the beach. Kings Beach is very cute. For us, it was the perfect getaway for our 26th anniversary!
Walk down and drop in with paddleboards, great location, clean, had everything we needed.
The unit was in a perfect location, clean, beautiful view, lovely gated community, and the unit was spacious. The only problem we had was with the water pressure, because if anyone was trying to take a shower, or if you were doing a load of laundry, or running the dishwasher you couldn’t take a shower in the master bath. The water barely trickled out the shower head, and it was freezing . Also, we had to wash our own dishes because the dishwasher didn’t work at all. Those things were very disappointing, but we still enjoyed staying at Brockview Springs unit 36. .
Stayed with my family the week before classes started; unit is perfectly spacious, yet cozy, worked extremely well for us. Location and view is stunning. Quiet and serene. Tennis courts/pool were convenient although pool was under maintenance until our last day. Loved proximity to town, it was very walkable. Kitchen had almost all that we needed, I wish I'd had a dish drying rack or some additional drying towels to hand wash cups as there weren't many and I couldn't bring myself to run the dishwasher with a few things in it. Beach towels would have been handy. Clear directions on what each key card did (gate/pool) would be helpful. Instructions on how to use the remotes would have saved us some time. I'd suggest talking to the housekeepers, there was dried food on the carpet and noticeable smears on many light switches. Is it a deal breaker? no way. I'd come back in a heartbeat, just better prepared.
My family and our friends were very excited to stay here. Our first disappointment occurred when we checked the beds for cleanliness. All but one bed has a bunch of loose hairs in them, and 1 bed had dried boogers still on the sheets. Next the mini fridge had old bottles left in it and spills that looked like meat juice in it. Additionally, the water heater would not keep up, and the water pressure was so weak, you couldn’t run a sink while the washing machine was running. The floors were not cleaned well or vacuumed well. There was obvious pet hair on the carpets and our friends kid who is allergic was having a bad time with it. The dishwasher also didn’t work and would not drain. I reached out 2 times to “Vacasa” during the stay and once to the front desk of the property and never received adequate assistance. Basically we spent our first night having to launder all the sheets and couldn’t have half our group take a shower in the same morning because the water pressure and water heater were terrible.
The condo is in a great location. Shops and restaurants near by. Steps away from the lake. The house was comfortable and clean for the most part. The rugs were covered in dog hair in living room. The only other complaint is the water was hard to regulate in the showers. We had to only use one water source at a time. Overall, the condo was nice, and I would rent it again. (The parking instructions say it is the first parking lot to the right, it is not. We had difficulty finding the condo) For those of us that are not familiar to the area (we are from Texas), I feel like there should be warnings about the bears somewhere. There was one meandering in the front of the condo in the morning, and we were at that exact location the morning before. Again, overall we had a great stay and would rent again. That was just info for future renters.
The unit is/was clean and kept up and with easy access. While there were supposed to be two Parking passes provided, there was only one. Fortunately the second car we had on site was not towed during the seven days we were there.
The carpet was filthy and so stained in the living area, and even though it was old, it should have been shampooed before we arrive. The three rugs were covered in dog hair and although they sent out a man to vacuum why wasn’t that done originally? It made me feel uncomfortable the entire week. Furthermore it was a no pet condo, but that was apparently incorrect and my granddaughter was miserable. I’ve rented from you in the past and always had a good experience. This was a family reunion or I would have left. Lastly, my text about the terrible condition of the carpet was not answered.
1) The guest bathroom shower doesn't drain. 2) The master bathroom shower handle come out after use 3) The carpet need some cleaning. my white sock turn to black after walking around the house.
