Next to the dining area is the kitchen with a wide counter top, just right for grabbing a quick bite. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds. Checkin was smooth, but the condo is in need of work. We immediately noticed a large, dark portion of water damage spanning from the edge of ceiling to an overhead light. I reached out to property manager asking if it was safe to use the light fixture since it’s obviously been exposed to water. They told me it was an ‘old stain that is okay’ further solidifying my fear that this space definitely has a mold issue. They did offer to send someone from maintenance but what would they do about an extensive, old, repair while we’re staying in the space??? They’ve been aware of the damage and warranted it okay...visible water damage especially old, untreated water damage is never okay. We are a young, healthy couple but immediately got congested whenever inside the space...definitely don’t recommend for elderly or children!!! A couple outlets unreliably turned off/on which was also concerning. As far as COVID goes: we brought all our own bedding, hand soap, cleaning products, and left the space very clean. Leading me to wonder if the space is treated in between stays at all? All of the ‘condo bedding’ that they weren’t offering because of Covid was stuffed in the closet haphazardly when we arrived. They didn’t have cleaning products available in the space and use a trust system about washing kitchen items before you leave... I definitely should’ve done more research about your cleanliness practices beforehand. For the price...absolutely not worth it and potentially risky for anyone with respiratory issues or mold sensitivity. Also these units are not handicap accessible, you have to walk up shared stair and patio - and people on both sides of us were constantly smoking in the shared space + we couldn’t leave our patio door open without hearing every conversation and smelling constant cigarette smoke...despite how stern management was in the prep materials about ‘guest conduct’ expectations.
I arrived at the location and it was not clean it was very unsanitary and disgusting. I then called to get some customer service assistance and received useless information and was told that no one would be able to come to clean the facility unless there was some kind of emergency. I am highly upset and disappointed in my stay as I was very uncomfortable and did not expect to have such an unsanitary area during the pandemic at that. I am definitely looking For someone to reach out to me in regards to this matter because something needs to be done this is unacceptable and despicable
After checking in we did not stay at this unit due to a/c not working and enormous mold/mildew in bathroom coming out of air vent, throughout shower door tracks and all over bathtub tiles and tub! Sorry but it would’ve been a health risk for us to stay there. We we returned to property management company explaining condition and upon their inspection, they refunded our money back and found us a much better livable place which we were very happy as it was definitely beautiful and a place where we would stay!
