The good - clean towels, comfortable pillows. The bad - the place smelled like burnt food was a permanence. No views because of construction in the apartment and the building. 5 days without any internet or cable, absolutely zero help from Vacasa, zero answer from property management, zero information or help from website and app. Several hours wasted trying to resolve. I contacted them every single day and not one word of update from anyone. Zero apology, zero accomodation, zero reimbursement. dont waste your time with this place or anything posted through vacasa. I dont even know why a third party would be allowed to post through vrbo without disclosing before booking.

This is a great spot with enough room for a family trip or trip with some friends. It’s a little older but not bad at all.

Good property, but booked this on basis of hot tub availability. It was out of use the entire time with no repair in sight. Vacasa should note non availability of an amenity it definitely knew about. Also requested info from them- no response. Otherwise the unit was good.

Well maintained condo. Wish it faced the mountain s instead of the parking lot.

Stayed July 2020. This unit worked out well for our family of 5 (3 teens). Mom & Dad took one bedroom and the kids took the other. 3 separate beds in one room worked out great for teens who do not want to touch each other. Washer/Dryer is downstairs, but we knew that and took quarters and bought detergent before arriving. Location to trailhead is great...maybe 1/3 mile. Easy trails (Lily Pad Lake) to aggressive/steep trails (Buffalo Mountain) are right out your front door. We started on a hike to some falls, but got turned back due to a late day storm. Full kitchen was helpful for meals. City Market (groceries) is a short 10 minute drive, if that.

This was our first time using Vacasa and we were very happy with the experience. The condo was exactly as the pictures showed. We only had a few things that kept this from being five stars. Pros Comfortable beds Well stocked kitchen supplies, any equipment needed to cook a meal is there. Lots of hot water (five kids here) Great patio for sitting outside Close to the outlets and excellent grocery stores (ten minutes to Starbucks, City Market, Whole Foods, Safeway, Walmart) Very quiet- we never heard other people. Cons The listing notates heating and A/C and says thermostat but it actually only has heating. It’s not hot but it stuffy. They did provide fans but isn’t helpful if someone wants to sleep on the couch or fans have to be moved when we were in the living room/eating dinner. The condo itself is very nice but the building is musty and dated The bathtub hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned- we all have blonde hair and the tub has long black hair on the sides. Pool and lounge were closed due to Covid but that’s not Vacasa’s fault. The bunk beds are VERY squeaky and can be difficult to get off the top bunk for younger kiddos who don’t climb. Overall we LOVED Silverthorne and even with the few downfalls the rental was exactly what we were looking for! This is an excellent more affordable location than other parts of Colorado!
