Comfortable beachfront unit in lovely gated Resort on the beach

The resort was beautiful. The condo was spacious and very clean. However, it needs some updating. The toilets are very low probably original to the building in 1975, the showerhead is the size of a quarter, and only one person could shower at a time due to the hot water, only one blow dryer could be running at a time, because it would trip the breaker, the mattresses were OK on the beds, but they’re very thin for such a luxury resort and need updating and very uncomfortable after sleeping on them for our ten day stay, and we unfortunately didn’t have good weather while we were down there so we spent a lot of time indoors and the furniture while it looks lovely, is very uncomfortable and needs updating. The kitchen was good and served its purpose, we had no issues in there. The balcony is beautiful spacious and have access from all the rooms. It had a table four high top chairs while OK, not the most comfortable and the sliding doors are very heavy and no handle on the outside makes it difficult to close while on the balcony. The heater in the pool at the resort was unable to keep up with the weather so the advertised 88 heated pool was unbearable most of our stay and we were only able to dip our legs in twice of our stay. While the facility is beautiful and nice, the pool staff are very strict by their rules and most times very rude. Marco Island is absolutely beautiful, and we will visit again, but we will look at a condo elsewhere.

Everything was as expected. The amenities are well-kept and my family had a pleasant stay.

We loved our stay here in Marco! The condo was perfect for our family; great set up and nice location, close to shops and restaurants. We did find the property slightly dirty (mostly the floors) but overall, we were very happy with our stay!

The property was as described, the unit was nice, but there was a pipe that burst a few floors above ours, I do understand that things like this happen, but we were not offered another unit and it was a bit frustrating as the drying fans that were deployed were very noisy, and a condensation draining tube was ran from the closet to the kitchen sink rendering it not usable for us. I was informed that the unit above ours were immediately offered another room. We were not in the unit when the drying fans were deployed and were surprised to find out that they were going to be there for a few days. I had spent a several hours on the phone with the VRBO representative and once the Horizons on call representative contacted me back we were able to move to another unit. The unit that we were moved to was nice, but the air conditioning unit needed maintenance and was not cooling the condo. I had called in a maintenance request to the HVAC technician. He was very responsive and came out and remedied the issue. We made the most of the situation, but were a little disappointed and frustrated, we literally lost a day and a half tracking down how to be moved to a new unit. Thanks

Stopped up and slow drains. Needs updating.

The property was as advertised, great view, walk to the beach was longer than expected, enjoyed the properties security.

Overall it was fine. The unit needs updates , particularly bathrooms for a family that has three people 6 feet tall, the toilets were tiny and showers low couldn’t use one shower as the sliding track but not open smoothly and we were afraid to break it The refrigerator door handle was broken We spend as much time outside as possible but with rainy weather we were inside more than usual unit could use some TLC

This condo is in serious need of a renovation. The kitchen cabinets are falling apart. Furniture is worn and very stained (the dining chairs are so dirty we chose to not sit on them). Couch throw pillows have holes with stuffing coming out. Walls need paint and linens need replaced. The kitchen is well stocked and had what we needed to make simple meals. Before you rent chairs for the beach, check the condo closet as it is stuffed with items including beach towels and a cooler. It is a significant hike to the beach, but the views from the balcony are wonderful. Make sure you read all the rules for the condo community. Full-time residents are less that kind when pointing out infractions. Overall we had a wonderful vacation, but would not return to this specific property.

The property needs to be updated. The kitchen cupboard are falling part and starting to rot out. The kitchen counter needs to be replaced and needs to be painted. The rest of the place was okay. It is quite a walk to the beach at least a quarter mile, but once there it is good
