    We had the best time here! Extremely clean and had brand new couch! Kitchen had so many amenities and pantry and fridge had unopened items which were a plus as well! Best location with new modern sliding glass doors out to the property! Cindy was a quick and responsive host! We’ll definitely be booking again in a few months!

    You can't beat the location of this condo. Bottom floor is great if you have kiddos, ours were in and out all day either in the pool, beach, playing soccer on the lawn, or shopping at Whalers. If you have kids this place is ideal. Cindy was great checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. The unit is fully stocked for cooking, with more amenities than you would think. She had beach umbrellas, chairs, snorkel gear, a cooler, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

    We were so thrilled with this rental from beginning to the end of our vacation. My oldest son was getting married on Maui and I needed multiple rentals to accommodate our large family. I rented this unit for my younger son, his wife and 10-month old baby. I had never stayed at The Whaler but we couldn't have been happier. This first floor unit with a patio was great for them to take the stroller in and out. Easy access to the pool and beach. Walk to Whaler's Village. Check-in was a breeze. The comment from the front desk staff This owner does everything right and that was spot-on. Unit was ready on time & even had pack-n-play for baby. Cindy checked in with us mid-week to see if we needed anything. We didn't. She had already thought of it all! This unit could have worked just as well for my husband & I or my mom + aunt & uncle. Not all rentals are created equal - this one is top-notch! We have been coming to Maui for 40+ years. We will be back.

    This property has such easy access to everything and the room was set up very well for our family of four. We moved from another unit halfway through our stay and Cindy was incredibly accommodating - got us in early so we weren’t displaced for the hours between checkout of the other room to check in of this room. Can’t wait to return!

    For our honeymoon we decided to book this unit because it was in a great location for us to walk around and enjoy Kaanapali. The major problem is that this units main bedroom shares a wall with the elevators. Since it’s a ground floor unit everyone in this entire building goes up and down to this floor all day and night. We were woken up at 6:30am to the dings of the elevator and loud system running. We could not sleep through it. I contacted the owner and she mentioned that they sleep with the AC on full blast so it doesn’t bother them. We don’t sleep with the AC on, and even if we did, we would still be able to hear it. She also said the building is supposed to slow the elevators down between 10pm-8am. This was not disclosed to us. We would not want to be woken up to the elevators even at 8am, we came to Maui to enjoy our honeymoon and relax. The owner also suggested maybe we sleep in the queen size Murphy bed in the living room instead. This is not what we paid over $6,000 for. She said she sent us a map showing where the unit was located by the elevator, but no mention it shared a wall with it. We ended up having to move units the second day we were there to a different one in the same building. We were offered no refund unless they could rebook, but they didn’t, so she kept all of our money. I want everyone to be aware of this, because regardless of other reviewers say it was very loud and not what we were expecting.

    The unit was great and the property manager was very helpful. She allowed us to enter the unit an hour early which allowed us to unpack and enjoy the area when we arrived.

    This was our first time visiting Maui and we wish we could stay forever. We visited in August and the condo was perfect for us! It was comfortable, spacious, clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It had everything that we needed and more. There were even beach chairs and a boogie boards on the lanai. We really appreciated not having to rent these for the stay. Our aunt stayed with her grandchildren in another condo and she had to rent these items because they weren’t provided by her owner. She kept telling us how lucky we were because of all the amenities that our owner provided for us. Speaking of owners, Cindy was great! She called before our trip to answer any questions and called during our stay to make sure we were enjoying the condo. She was always easily accessible but we had no issues at all during our stay. The location of the condo on the ground floor was the best. Loved having our own private entrance to the grounds and the beach right off the Lanai. The Whaler itself is in a perfect location with just a short walk along the boardwalk to restaurants, shopping, and family entertainment at The Whalers Village. The beach in front of the Whaler is amazing, plenty of beach for the kids to enjoy. Snorkeling and cliff jumping at Black Rock is also within walking distance. We even saw a few turtles! I could go on and on with this review but will end with, our stay was perfect! Thank you Cindy for the wonderful memories our family will have from our stay at your condo. We will definitely be back… Mahalo! ?

    From the time we opened the door til we ad to leave it was paradise. The condo is very comfortable, well laid out and very well supplied, we wanted for nothing. The staff at the Whaler are friendly, accommodating and very efficient, we now have lots of new friends. The condo owner Cindy was very helpful and friendly, and very pleasant to talk to, and was very prompt to return calls. Thanks for the use of the pool toys, chairs, and water stations, saved lots of money. The location to the beach and pool, a short hop skip and a jump. We enjoyed the beach very much, the waves, the water, Black Rock lots of honu, turtles, and fishies.... Mornings were spent with the frogs and birds, and coffee on the lanai, with the warm sun. We would end the day watching the close of the day beach diver at Black Rock, and wait for the frogs to serenade and entertain us on the lawn. A big shout out to Safeway, Prison Pizza, best on Maui, and they deliver free... Joeys kitchen, Loco Moco, The Poke shop, shrimp tacos, Baskin Robbins, and ABC store. The feeling of ohana, family was well represented at the whaler, and the beaches, and all the activities we were involved with... And saw a pod of whales at molokini, and the pair of plovers who escourt them to Hawaii...Thanks Cindy, and get well.... Mucho Thanks...Mahalo and Aloha, and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.. The Smiths....

    First time VRBO user and could not be more pleased. My wife and I have been to Kaanapali about 10 times and usually stay in the hotels nearby. This condo was perfect with the full kitchen. The unit on the first floor was ideal as no elevators needed and right by the path to the beach. Actually surprised at how large the unit was. The kitchen and living room are completely separate from the hallway to bathroom and master bedroom and the kids were able to sleep on the murphy bed and have their own space. Big difference from a tiny hotel room. Cindy was clear in communication, very prompt in responses and a pleasure to work with. We will be back next year to stay in 119 once again. Thanks Cindy!
