Bitterroot 2 is a great base lodge for your ski or summer Whitefish adventures. The views of Big Mountain from the living room and deck are incredible. The unit is clean and well-maintained, with the ability to sleep 5 comfortably. Cozy up by the fireplace during the winter and enjoy the views from the deck after a long day in Glacier National Park or on the slopes for Après skiing. The building has fantastic ski access just up the road, and you can easily ski back to the building.The ski locker room on the main floor will house all of your ski gear. There is an indoor shared hot tub, open only in the winter. Wifi, cable television, Mr. Coffee-style coffee maker and a dutch oven are included. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and a twin bedroom just around the corner. There is a queen murphy bed in the living room with a divider that makes the space private from the living room and kitchen. You have great views from the sleeping space. **Two portable Air conditioning units were added to the condo. One for the bedroom and one for the living room **

The Bitterroot condo building is located 30-40 minutes to Glacier International Airport, 10 minutes from downtown Whitefish and the Amtrak depot, at the heart of the Whitefish Mountain Resort village, and less than an hour to the West entrance to Glacier National Park.

    The set up of the unit was nice. Loved having 2 bathrooms. However, the carpet is stained / dirty and is gross. If all of the units are full, parking could be a nighmare.

    The location is absolutely perfect. It’s got everything you need for a great stay on the mountain. Ski in/out 30 yards from the front door. The host was incredibly quick to respond to any questions, and went out if their way to ensure everything went to plan.

    Clean and well stocked. Bigger than we had anticipated. Location was perfect, ski locker was crucial, hot tub was just a few steps away from our unit. Host was veru accomodating. December 2025

    Had a fantastic stay at this beautiful condo in Whitefish! The unit was clean, well-stocked, and tastefully decorated, with stunning mountain views. The location was perfect—close to downtown, Whitefish Lake, and just a short drive to Glacier National Park. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base in Montana.

    The condo is well maintained. The beds are all firm and provide a good night’s sleep. The ski locker room is great- the heater insures warm and dry equipment every day. There is plenty of glassware and dishes. I wish there were some drawers to allow unpacking a suitcase. The one thing desperately needed is towel racks and/or hooks as there are none.As advertised parking allows one car per unit.

    This is a wonderful property and located truly in a ski-in ski-out area. We walked to the slope, put our skies on and slid down to the lift. On the way back, we just skied to the front door. Wow, what a gem! We were lucky to see fire works from the balcony, and got a lot of fresh powder snow. Lots of space, clean, and close to Bierstube restaurant and small 24 hr market. Thanks, we really loved our stay, and will go again!

    We stayed 3 nights. The check-in and check-out were smooth and great communication with owners. Would stay again for sure! Ideal for ski season but worked well for us doing summer activities as well.
