Nestled in the Arapahoe National Forest at South end of Breck, Tamarisk Condominiums are located in the Warrior's Mark section of Breckenridge, a very quiet established residential neighborhood. Tamarisk Condo Complex is situated on the 'Columbine Drive Loop' a safe area near Marriott’s Mountain Valley Lodge & Maggie Pond.
There is a slight 3% downhill grade from the complex to the Marriott and Peak 9 Base area which is a 5 minute walk on a sidewalk lined residential street.
Tamarisk's 18 unit Condo Complex features a classic mid-century design and provides ample dedicated parking for residents as well as on-site laundry facilities.
Tamarisk is situated on the Free Town Shuttle 'BROWN' Route, with regular service to City Market Grocery store, the Gondola, restaurants, shops, medical, massage, post office/ UPS and much more. The Bus Stop is quite literally in front of our parking lot, next to the Summit Daily News paper box.

If you have not been to Breck before, you should know that our condo is located in the safe & quiet area near Marriott’s Mountain Valley Lodge & Maggie Pond on the Columbine Dr. Loop. Condos in the loop are within a 5 minute walk of Peak 9 base, where the QuickSilver Super 6 Lift and Kid’s Ski School at Maggie Pond is located. It's a slight 3% downhill grade from the condo to the lift.
Be aware, cheaper “Ski in/out” Condos located further up Broken Lance Dr. at Warriors Mark area are not walkable to the lift and is where transient resort staff rent for the season. It can be loud & chaotic.
NOTE: We regret the condo is NOT suitable for families with young children- toddlers/ infants. We are happy to make appropriate referrals!
Great location! Very clean & in walking distance to skiing, restaurants, & all activities. Found walking easiest way to get around as bus routes vague (bus drivers very helpful if you ask before getting onto bus). Make dinner reservations in advance as restaurants book-up early. Great time!
4.5 stars. Good location, convenient to ski slopes and town. Minor inconveniences: the kitchen cookware was a bit dated, dining table had only 4 chairs (although there were bar stools available), and noise from adjacent unit(s) traveled thru ceiling/walls.
Kim was a wonderful host. Any questions and needs were met with a quick response! My friend had issues with the lock and couldn’t reach me but Kim was available to help him out. The property was well stocked and very convenient for getting to peak 9 and downtown. I will definitely be back!
Kim is very responsive and on top of everything. Was a great little getaway in February and beautiful surroundings
The condo was great. Good size 3 bedroom. good location. Walk back is further then walk down but it is definatly doable!!
Everything was as advertised in the VRBO listing. Great distance to Maggie Pond & lift. The fire place was wonderful. The kitchen was equipped well as we cooked breakfast every day. The only issue we had was with the door lock. There is a note on the door how to open it, However, we felt as if we was going to break the door getting in. It took a little time to get a hold of the manager, however once we did Kim contacted us immediately. she also insisted that if we have any additional issues to contact her first. My husband made some adjustments to the lock which made it easier, but not fixed. I would suggest getting a new door handle/lock mechanism. The beds are good sized. The only other thing I would mention which is strictly a preference thing, all 6 of us agreed the spare bedroom mattress is extremely firm. So pick your bed first if you’re in a group. The other beds were very comfortable. Overall I would stay again at this property. I hope it is open next year for our ski trip.
My family of 5 stayed at Warrior's Mark condo from Dec 23 thru 30, 2022. We were very happy with the location, condition and size of the condo, and communications with the owner. A couple of observations - Prior to our arrival I had communicated with the owner multiple times to get suggestions on ski rentals, shuttles to Denver, and a few other logistical items. She was always very responsive and had some great suggestions. At day of arrival, we had the slightest glitch trying to check in. Either due to user error (me deleting/missing an email) or VRBO system glitch, we missed the check-in instructions. As the 4 pm check-in time passed, I texted and called the owner for instructions. She immediately responded and we were in by 4:15. She checked in several times after that to ensure that everything was going well and even offered suggestions about where to ski and other activities. From the condo you can walk to the Quicksilver lift - about 5-10 minutes (it's slightly downhill on the way there) - you can easily find the way by following all the others walking in that direction. We didn't use the free bus system but the stop is just across the street from the condo. The condo itself is well appointed with TVs in each of the bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked and functional - although we primarily only used it for breakfast and snacks. Plenty of hot water and bath supplies. A couple of very minor considerations - the condo is second floor so have a short flight of steps to navigate. Wasn't a factor for us but just noting. Also, there is a condo above this unit. You can hear footsteps but we didn't hear much else. Thankfully the people in the unit above were on a similar schedule as us so no factor. In the end, these are pretty trivial items, but just pointing them out for awareness. We loved our Christmas break in Breck and would definitely rent this unit again.
We had a great visit to Breckenridge. The condo was close to the slopes so we could walk to ski and snowboard. The condo is also close to town so it was easy to shop and find places to eat. The condo is well stocked and Kim replies quickly to any questions.
We were only a 4 minute walk on sidewalks from our ski rental shop and just another 1 minute walk to the ski lift. It was easy to come back to the condo for lunch and rest our legs before skiing in the afternoon. The kids walked let than 10 minutes into downtown for dinner and shopping. It was quicker than waiting on the bus. We really enjoyed the place but you could hear the neighbors above when they were walking around. Thankfully we were all on the same sleep schedule. This condo was roomy and well stocked.
We really enjoyed our stay. Bit of a walk to the Quicksilver lift, but we rented equipment from Charter Sports at the Marriott, much closer to the lift, and were able to change into our ski boots at Charter and leave our walking shoes there. Nice hot tubs close to the condo. Short walk to town. Great neighborhood. This condo was perfect for our family. Very comfortable. The kitchen could use some new non-stick pans, but otherwise we had everything we needed.
