The Space:

Wonderfully lit, 2 bedroom condo in downtown Leadville. This loft is in one of the oldest and most historic buildings, dating to the early 1900s, this renovated loft has 14 foot ceilings, exposed brick and many of the original building fixtures. Smart TV (NO CABLE). Just 3 blocks from main street in downtown Leadville, you'll be within walking distance to all of the best restaurants, bars and attractions in Leadville. You're also less than an hour's drive from the best Ski Slopes and Hikes that Colorado has to offer. Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain are just near and perfect for snow activities this season!

Beautiful high ceilings and exposed brick. Illuminating natural light fills both bedrooms & the main common area. 2 bedrooms with 1.5 detached bathrooms.

The space stays very cool in the summer (especially compared to other places in Leadville as most houses have no A/C).

Heads Up: This is a historic building with poor insulation and very old windows. This unit will, unfortunately, get a bit cold in winter. We have space heaters in the closets, extra blankets, and electric baseboard & wall mounted heaters throughout the unit, but please note that on cold winter days the unit will get chilly. Please be prepared! Right now, the fireplace does not function and is just for display.

Very cozy and nicely updated apartment. This property is very well maintained and in a very historic building of Leadville. Love that this property was made into apartments and restored. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay and it was the perfect home base for a variety of hiking excursions and sightseeing. The property was clean and spacious and the heaters did a good job of keeping it warm. We would definitely stay there again.

This was a historic building that was modernized inside. The tall ceilings and exposed brick made it very up-scale looking. It was very clean and bright. The check- in process was very complicated, however. After we found the building, it probably took another 45 min to get into our rooms. You really do have to read their multiple pages of documents.

Very clean. WiFi password is not easily found and the QR code to get it required registration - which wasn’t working well because I had to use cellular to connect. Then after registration the “service” couldn’t find my reservation. We emailed host who did reply but we’d figured out the situation by looking at the router. Would highly recommend the host make this easier. The property was very clean and had what we needed. More wash clothes would be helpful. 2 per person, per night. Lovely historical building within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Nice park close by for kids.

Great property! Parking was super easy, and had plenty of room for us and all our gear. The washing machine in the hallway made it super convenient to throw in hiking and biking clothes.Downtown was only a few minutes away by foot, so was easy to explore. Definitely recommend if you're headed to Leaville!

When we walked into the property the temperature was 58 degrees. It was a horrible experience. There was a towel that had been discolored from bleach in one of the bathrooms, the breakers went out in the bedrooms twice, one outlet in the bedroom didn't work, hair on the towel and in one of the beds, and a bug was walking on the pillowcase in one of the bedrooms. Four hours later the temperature increased to 66 degrees. We left and checked into a hotel. I was told several times the property manager would contact me in the morning. I never heard from them. We are still waiting for a refund.

The condo is in a neat old school building, with modern refinishing. It has high ceilings, wood floors, and lots of brickwork. The 2 bedrooms are large and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The living area is small, but we didn't use it much anyway, since we were just there for an overnight stay. The condo is convenient to many restaurants, and was close to our mountain bike race venue. We would definitely book here again in the future.
