Charming Oceanfront Escape – 2BR/2BA at Ocean Garden Villas #L2

Second floor no elevator…The proximity to the POOL and BEACH were PERFECT. You MUST KNOW if you stay here that the master mattress is on a bed frame and is EXTREMELY hard. The headboard isn’t connected to the wall NOR the frame. The other beds were soft and comfortable per the other family members. There is ZERO WATER PRESSURE in the showers… ZERO …. We found the laundry room it’s on the first floor in the last door before you exit to the pool. They are quarter machines 4.00 per load… It’s a quaint old time beach condo…Exterminator came and is regular which is awesome. Tiny ants in the kitchen but taken care of by safe spray I left under the sink. Bring your stock or know to shop for ALL paper products, spices and sheet pans … beach is extremely busy but overall a SWEET place AND lots of family FUN! Lots to do NEAR the condo. First stay at North Myrtle in 20 years..

We really liked the decor of the unit. A couple things that would make this a five star unit are, one the kitchen utensils and cookware could be better. There were no baking sheets. Two, the living room TV is shot and needs replaced. It takes about a minute for it to warm up and the screen to come on. Three, there is no in unit washer/dryer. There are 3 coin operated washers and dryers one floor down. Fourth, the water pressure is awful. These are minor inconveniences but become bigger as the week progresses. On a positive note the unit is clean, the view/location was great and we had a good time. If those items are fixed it would be an A rental.

We have stayed at the Ocean Garden Villas condo facility for 13 years and rented from another condo owner, but unfortunately she passed away late last year, hence for this year, 2023, contacting VRBO to book an available condo in OGV. We enjoyed our 1 week stay as usual and was impressed how clean we found the condo.

The property and location were exceptional! Very clean and can’t wait to stay here again!

The place was clean and well kept. Maybe recently updated? A few steps to the pool or beach. Basic kitchen but fine for a short stay. I certainly consider going back.

Had a very good time. Right on the beach. Unit is older and lacked kitchen supplies but we were not planning on cooking anyway. The was very low water pressure for hot water but I realized that there was a double valve on the hot water side. One valve was broken in the closed position. Opened it up some and it helped, but that is a plumbing no no. Needs a few light bulbs too. Overall, good value.

Have stayed at this property many times this unit was poorly equipped in the kitchen no baking pan, the pots and pans the handles were about to fall off, all dishes were dirty along with silverware no mixing bowls. The baseboards were filthy. Under the beds looked as if they had never been cleaned. This unit L2 needs some upgrades, but we will probobly stay at this site again because we like location and that it is not so crowded .

The whole experience was great. Had no problems with check-in or anything during our stay. It was a nice property. Great location right on the beach!
