Charming Family Retreat @ The Monarch: Steps to Free Beaches & Iconic Boardwalk!

I've stayed in many rental properties all over the world. This property was absolutely fantastic; both beautifully decorated, and well kept. We couldn't have asked for a better location or a more gracious and responsive host. The kitchen and dining area were perfectly appointed for cooking and family meals.We loved the open concepts to socialize, whether it was while cooking dinner, or packing lunches for the beach. The bedrooms were great and we loved having 2 full baths. I didn't notice in the pictures, but the balcony has two sets of sliding doors, one off the dining area, and one off the living area. It seems like a small detail, but adds a touch of luxury when most locations have small decks. From there we could see the ocean, and relax in a refreshing breeze. The property was also located in an incredibly convenient location that was also out of the way from the larger hustle and bustle of being mid-town/boardwalk. Just a block and a half from the beach and the beginning of the boardwalk, where you can catch the tram (which was perfect for our little one after a long evening of play on the boards). The inner courtyard of the complex was spectacular with a lovely garden, two seating areas, gas grills, and a large pool, kids pool, and spa. My only real complaint is that we didn't book for an entire week!

Outstanding stay here. Great location close to boardwalk and restaurants. Nice grounds. Family location. Quiet at night. Nice balcony and only a block away from the beach.

This condo is close to the beach and the boardwalk. It is clean, spacious and the kitchen is well stocked! We loved our 5 night stay and the host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Check in and out was a breeze. Loved the guest pool and bbq area. Would love to come back!

We loved our stay at this condo. We’ve been coming to wildwood for 20 years and have stayed all over the crest and this was absolutely the cleanest place. It looked untouched when we arrived. Henry is a friendly and responsive host and clearly cares about his property and his guests. We can’t wait to come back!

A beautiful place, very clean, great view, and all the amenities included like: board games, cable tv, ps3, pool access. Parking is so convenient, boardwalk is so close, neighbors are friendly. The owner is such a great host I couldn’t say enough nice things about the communication and ease of mind throughout the process. Would definitely stay again!

Great communication with host! Property had every amenity and it was very clean. This property is all about location - less than a block to the beach and boardwalk. Between the pool and hot tub after the beach and restaurants close by we never had to move our cars. It makes for a very relaxing vacation.

Very clean , beautiful, spacious, roomy ,we are family of 6. Good view of the beach on the balcony while reading and having coffee. The pool was big and heated and there was hot tub for grandma to use. The beach was walking distance , helps grandma. The start of the boardwalk and tram was literally there on Cresse ave. Easy to communicate with Henry the property owner. We would definitely comeback. Everything we needed was there and was close by.

This listing was just as described and Henry’s communication made the check-in & out process smooth. One block away from pristine beaches and hustling boardwalk made this the perfect family location. It was comfortable and quiet and just around the corner from endless summer days and nights!

3 of us had a super fun and relaxing time at this Monarch apartment! Henry, the owner, helped us from booking through checking out, responding helpfully and quickly to our questions. The accommodations are very clean (with nice beach-decor), comfortable and there’s a pool, hot tub, and a cute courtyard where you can hang out. We could walk outside with our beach gear and be ready to set up chairs chairs on the beach within 0.4 miles. There are plenty of restaurants and a CVS within 0.5 miles which makes walking everywhere very appealing! The beginning of the Boardwalk also starts within a block of Monarch! We hope to book again!! Loved it!!

Henry was an excellent host. My daughter uses a wheelchair and I wanted to rent a beach wheelchair, we went off season so most things were not open yet. Henry reasearched places for us to call so we could get a beach wheelchair! He gave us recommendations for places to eat & activities to do. Our favorite was Sunset Beach in Cape May. The condo was beautiful. I highly recommend!! 5 stars
