Stayed Aug 25, 2024Property was accurately advertised and for the low price of $1650 for the week, it was great. I wouldn't pay more because the layout is odd, walking into the master with everything else downstairs. The beds were awful. Very uncomfortable. Master was oceanfront but you couldn't open open the window ehich

Stayed Aug 24, 2016We arrived on Wed and thank goodness, we were out on Thursday. The building is older and this particular unit needed alot of items replaced, specifically the beds, which had rips in the bedspring and no mattress cover on the twin beds. At night while reading in the upstairs bed, a bug ran across my sheet. I freaked out because what type of bug crawls across the bed in the night, ......bed bugs! The next day the real estate office confirmed there were bed bugs in the unit. My vacation was ruined. The real estate office moved us to a new location but to prevent the bugs from joiningbus at the new location, I threw all of our luggage away, the beach chairs, our linens and pillows, etc. Then, I spent my evening and early morning seperating clothes, washing and drying them at hot temperatures for precautionary measures. Then, I had to go to Walmart to replace items discarded. The real estate agency reimbursed the cost of the pillows, linens and towels, but nothing else. The required standard of practice for these real estate companies and hotel/motel chains should be to have a pest control company or person specifically trained to identify lice, bedbugs etc after each guest checks out, during the cleaning of the property. Even the maid service can be trained. And, get rid of the old, ripped worn out furniture or get out of the rental business. In addition, the pictures on the website do not reflect the true condition of the furniture, bedding, etc. These rental properties need to be added to the site Oyster which shows actual pictures of resorts by the guest that visit. Beware! I even checked the bedbug registry on this property, but there was no listing. I am putting this property on the bedbug registry.
