Stayed Jul 29, 2025Everything my family of 5 needed for a comfortable stay. Good location near the public beach, and downtown Siesta Key was a reasonable walk or a fast ride on the free shuttle. Look elsewhere if you want luxury, kitchen and baths are dated, but everything works.

Stayed Apr 29, 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Banana Cabana. It was clean overall and communication was top notch.The good: location and convenience to all that Siesta key has to offer. Great communication with the property manager. There were 2 issues, but they were quickly addressed.The not so good: the property is cute, but definitely needs a renovation. There is no dishwasher. The furniture is quite old and rugs need replacing or at least a good cleaning. It could be an excellent 5 star rental with a light renovation.We enjoyed our visit though and wouldlikely rent again.

Stayed Mar 31, 2025Enjoyed location. Clean unit. Recommend ceiling fans in bedrooms, replace broken windows and provide a working vacuum to use for sand removal.

Stayed Mar 16, 2025The place was very, very run down. For example, our kids got stuck in the main bathroom, because the door isn't level. We were expecting something a little nicer given the money we spent.

Stayed Feb 17, 2025Host was wonderful to work with. Construction work next door woke us up early (7am noise can start). Few things owner was unaware of that we noticed upon arrival - window in bedroom was broken and cannot open, shower in master bedroom has broken shower doors, dirty sheets in dresser and dishes were in the sink from previous renters. Window in bathroom was also broken, but workable. Carpet has animal stains and didn't feel clean. Busy area, but good location to be able to walk to town for dinner. Entrance to the beach was across the street which was also nice. Advertising of location accurate, place just needs some TLC. was brmade
