Central ukee ocean view condo

The location was beautiful. Right by the water, close to shopping, and close to grocery store. The condo itself was another matter. The beds were comfortable and it was convenient to have an en suite off the bedroom. The handbook was extremely outdated, and we had issues with the code to get into the building. The communication with the manager of the building was fantastic.The fridge didn’t stay cold, it took two days for ice cubes to freeze and the top rack of the dishwasher was broken. The pots all need new handles. There was no organization in the kitchen. Very disorganized. We like to cook, but the kitchen was not user-friendly for cooking. Great communication with the Renter. It was nice, but only if you don’t want to cook.

Great location, nice and big, love the beams. Neighbors above woke up at 5am and stomped around, for each of the 3 days we stayed! King bed frame/box spring very loud, kept waking up partner whenever I turned over.

Really enjoyed staying at this property. Plenty of room and nice location. However there was not enough toilet rolls provided or any spare garbage bags. Also, for security, the door code should be changed. It was disconcerting knowing previous guests or anyone with the code could easily enter the apartment.

Owner was helpful and responsive, the rooms had everything we needed. Lovely shampoo/soaps from the refillery shop downstairs! Everything is walking distance.

The property was accessed by codes (- separate codes for building and the suite) so that no key was required. Unfortunately on our last night, the next renter walked in and accused us of being in his suite. on another note, we initially renter the suite for 2 weeks and then reduced it to 1 week. VRBO would not refund us for the service fees - they kept it set at the 2 week rate.

This was perfect for our Tofino vacation. Super well maintained and a beautiful condo, great location close to the water and very quiet. Great location if you’re bringing a pet. We would stay here again in a second. Samantha really sets up everything very well. We had planned to spend most of our vacation in Pacific Rim Park, and at first we’re planning to stay in Tofino. Most of the park is exactly half way between Ukee and Tofino, and Ukee is quieter and less expensive, and has all you need while also being quieter. We’ll be back for sure, and will stay in Ukee again and hopefully here. Tofino is very cool, easily driveable. This is a great condo.

great location, restaurants, aquarium, etc all within walking area. Lots of grassy, park area for walking the dog. Quiet streets at night. Easy check in and out. Very comfortable beds with nice linens. Good wifi and east to operate TV.

This was the absolutely perfect locationThe accommodations were comfortable the only draw back was the beautiful balcony did not have comfortable seating

Nice location. Apartment is well stock. Needs some minor repairs such as window coverings. Will return to stay if in the area.

Spacious for a family and a great location, just across from the Aquarium and village playground. Could use some minor maintenance - the primary suite bathroom light was burnt out. More bowls and mugs would be helpful.

Very handy to be right in the heart of town. The place fit 6, with 2 sleeping in the living room (not ideal), but needed more cutlery & dishes for that number. only 3 bowls for e.g.! Otherwise just fine.

Great location great stay

Nice rooms and functional small kitchen 1 block from grocery and coffee/bakery shop. Be sure to consider a boat tour out to the broken islands. Lovely lunch and lots of wildlife. Incredible scenic beauty. Archipelago adventure s.

The place was super nice and was located in prime location. However the communication process was not the best - the door code to the building was outdated and we had to ask someone entering the building to let us in. Also the manager didnt respond to our messages until the day we were checking out.

Beautiful condo, we felt at home as soon as we walked in! Shops, restaurants and groceries all in walking distance. We enjoyed the ocean view and gas fireplace in the mornings. Bring slippers as the polished concrete floors are cold! The unit was surprising quiet from outside noise but we did hear the renters in the unit above unfortunately. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates and cutlery. The gas stove and dishwasher made for easy cooking and cleanup. The 2 bedrooms were bright and cozy, the mattresses were firm and lumpy so bring a foam topper if you prefer a softer mattress. Bright lights from the parking lot and fish packing plant shine into the master bedroom at night so we hung a blanket over the window. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Whiskey Landing and wished we could have stayed a while longer!
