Good neighborhood close to shopping. My time of year was great, but I can see how it would not be pleasant during the heat of summer if the AC doesn’t work.

It was adequate for one night and Gigi was very personable. She made a point to greet us and asked us to let her know if we needed anything. Sheets, pillows and mattresses seemed fine. However it could certainly use updating, and deep cleaning, especially considering the total cost when all is added up. A big issue we found was towels and washcloths that felt stiff and maybe like they weren’t rinsed well before being dried. There was also a dog that barked right next to the back door.

Property wasn’t very clean.Had a weird smell. Shoelaces hanging from the ceiling fan. Could hear the people through the walls. Ended up leaving and getting a hotel. No TV or living space. Wouldn’t recommend!

There is no comfortable place to rest, except the beds. In short, no living room, only dining table & outside patio table & their chairs. The outdoor space is all concrete & small, so there’s no place for children or pets to enjoy. The gate doesn’t lock properly. Noisy neighbors with children, pool, & chickens (I think) on corner of busy street. Kitchen counter & all floors dirty. No coffee filters & water was left behind in the reservoir. Listing says nothing about fees for pets & additional people. They are found in the checkout process under host fees, I think. I noticed my reservation showed only one pet, not 2. I informed host & was told I needed to pay another $30 for pet + tax (this is how I found out about the additional fees). The host even said I should be glad I’m honest, because I would have been charged additional fees if host found out my numbers didn’t match (pets & people). I feel other hosts should include mentioning pet fees in their description of their property. Guests, if you are bringing pets look for these fees.I think host lives in other half of house, watching for these things. Yes, the pictures show no comfortable relaxation space - so I just learned to pay closer attention to pictures. The hosts are new to being hosts - so it was a learning experience for all involved. Hopefully they will take constructive criticism & make the space more appealing. Yes, this place is close to the strip - however, in my opinion it’s ONLY a place to lay your head.

The danger signs were all around as we arrived. There was a car up on blocks just to the left of the driveway and the front porch had what appeared to be furniture and construction waste filling most of the available space. There was a sign pointing to the right saying entrance. We came to a patio area that had more litter, broken furniture and junk, then entered the unit we had booked. The first thing we noticed was that there was no living room - just a kitchen, a hallway with a small table and three chairs, and two bedrooms with accompanying showers. Not at all what we were given to expect. Closer examination revealed that the unit was not really clean; the hood fan over the stove was greasy and dirty; all the dishes and cutlery were stacked beside the kitchen sink; there was a small space between the kitchen cabinets and a wall that had some pipes running through. They were stained with what appeared to be spilled kitchen stuff and - perhaps mold. The next thing we noticed was a number of health and safety concerns. The light fixture over the table was missing 3 of the four bulbs it should have contained. An electric outlet just to the right of the kitchen sink was not GFI protected and had an extension cord and power bar supported on drywall screws running directly over the kitchen sink, thus creating a significant risk of electric shock to anyone using the sink. Finally, there was an unmarked step (about 4) between the kitchen and the hallway.
