    Our family of six stayed here for a quick weekend visit to Steamboat Springs for my husband's birthday. We know everyone has different expectations when they book a rental, however, I believe this condo would disappoint most people. For starters, we did not receive check-in instructions. So, when we arrived at 9:30 pm and drove to the address, we were surprised to learn we needed to go back down the mountain to check-in at a remote location. (Not ideal after driving for 4 + hours with four kids in the car ready to go to bed). After we checked in, we drove back to the condo and loaded up the luggage cart and headed to the elevator. When the elevator arrived, it was obvious that only the cart, my husband and one of our children would fit in the elevator. Not a big deal, but inconvenient since we were all tired. Upon entering, the condo itself does appear as shown in the pictures. And it was a ski-in, ski-out location. That was the only truly redeeming quality about the condo. What disappointed us was that the condo was neither well-maintained, nor was it clean. The master bath had a gaping hole in the shower where the shower head was installed, and mildew in the corners of the shower where there was missing caulk. The second bathroom sink faucet, like the master bath was a very basic fixture, and almost impossible to turn off. Nothing appeared to have been remodeled, or updated, with the exception of the 2nd bedroom that must have been added at some point. (The second sliding glass door was split between the family room and the second bedroom and there was no heat directly vented to the second bedroom, which made it colder than the rest of the condo). In addition, the beds were not very comfortable and there was a definite lack of pillows. Finally, the condo was not very clean, especially the floors, the trim, the silverware and the plates. There were some other things that disappointed us, but what I have stated covers most of our concerns. All in all, I would not recommend this condo. When I expressed my concerns at check-out, the management company was very nice, but clearly there is work to be done here.

    We enjoyed our week in this condo! The unit was spotless, the building was quiet and it was plenty spacious for us. Ski-in/Ski-out was convenient. The management company was responsive and polite. It was great for us!
