We arrived to find a clean and nicely furnished condo with great view of the lake. Everything we needed for our stay was readily available. We enjoyed having access to both pools and enjoyed them to the fullest. We left wanting to stay. Isn’t that what everyone wants (rhetorical)

We enjoyed staying here, the amenities were excellent, and the close proximity to the boat dock. Enjoyed the sunrise every morning over looking the water from the deck.

We had the best time at Smith Mountain Lake this weekend. The home was absolutely perfect for our family. Spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend away. The owner was great at communicating with us before and even during our stay. Would absolutely come back!

The home was very clean and comfortable plenty of supplies to make meals. I really enjoyed the resort amenities and love the outdoor screen porch and open patio.

We decided to stay at Catching Rae's for our last hurrah before we head back into school and it was perfect! The unit is very clean and well equipped with everything you need for a week at the lake plus some! The location is great and very quiet. The unit was perfect for our family of four (a 22 yr old son and a 17 yr old son plus my husband and I). We took advantage of the pools and enjoyed the beach area. I highly recommend staying at Catching Rae's and we hope to book again the next time we head to SML.

My brother and I had a great stay. There is a gym, tennis courts, pool and snack bar within a short walk. This unit is tucked away and on end with privacy. I would recommend this place and hope to come back soon!

inside the condo is just as shown in pictures. very clean. loved and read a few books from their collection. balcony offers a screened in section and a non-screened in section with a grill and plenty of seating.....although have to go inside to get from one section to another. in this section of condos, this one has the best location......upper corner in section closest to the edge of property note: if looking at the pictures of the condo.....the pictures with the pool and the vast view of the lake is from a DIFFERENT section of the resort. you have to drive to get there from this condo. so if you are wanting walking access to a pool, this condo isn't for you. be aware that the ice maker isn't hooked up. so if you like ice in your drinks (i drink ice water all day long), bring a bag of ice, or ice trays to make your own. also, if you're going to stay a week, you might want to bring along a few washcloths unless you want to do some laundry while you are there. i can reuse towels, but not washcloths there is a nice washer/dryer set inside a closet in the kitchen. Bart was quick to answer any questions that I had. overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone (except those wanting close proximity to a pool) loved the swimming area at the other section of the resort, near the pool.
