Calming Beach Views from Private Balcony at Pensacola Beach Condo

Here are the things we liked: 1. Unit was very nice and clean, with beautiful decor and updated appliances. 2. Sofa bed is comfortable. 3. Bathroom had enough linens and towels for our needs. 4. WiFi signal was very strong. 5. TV uses Roku with free programs. 6. Shower/Tub has support bars. 7. There are beautiful countertops. 8. Had some games, books & DVDs. 9. Kitchen is well supplied. 10. Washer & dryer was convenient but noisy. 11. The elevator runs slow. 12. Automatic front door latch. 13. Parking underneath the building. 14. Additional parking off to the side. 15. Access to the beach is the best. Parts of the unit that needs attention: 1. Carpeting is out-dated and is not very comfortable to walk barefoot. 2. Some light switches were not marked as to their use. 3. Kitchen dishwasher was not secure in the cabinet and tends to lean out when opened. 4. Refrigerator needs water filter replaced. 5. Kitchen blinds need replacing. 6. Air venting is not distributed properly causing the bedroom to be 10 degrees colder than the rest of the unit. 7. TV signal is intermittent and interrupts often.

Check-in was easy. It was nice to have covered parking and be at a peaceful area of the beach.

We enjoyed our stay. The property is a little dated but it's very clean and the furnishings are nice. Loved that we were right there on the beach and could enjoy it fully.

Clean and comfortable at a good price on the beach.

We have been traveling to Pensacol Beach for more than 20 years. Nothing better than a beachfront condo. The rental was perfect for a long weekend. Eveything was clean and just as described.

Wonderful vacation at this condo. The only reason for the 4 stars vs 5, is that on our last night there, some cooked a very ethnic cuisine, that left a horrible odor throughout the floor. That's not the fault of this owner I understand, however it was so strong that it left a bad impression that last day.

Property was clean and right on the beach! It was perfect and would definitely stay here again! Check in and out was easy. The only issue was the internet being slow, we ended up using our hotspots to work on a laptop.

The unit itself is nice but a little dated and gives the vibe of being a 100% rental unit. The unit feels more like a fancier motel room rather than a family owned vacation home. Usually when staying at a VRBO owned by a family, there'll be some magazines around and some stock in the kitchen like salt and pepper. Sometimes even some sugar or other spices. This unit has the bare bones of kitchen utensils and is stocked more like a motel room. But that was just a little bit of a shock and not a deal breaker nor would it prevent rebooking in the future. I just know exactly what to expect here now. Now there were a couple of issues but still minor. The tub didn't drain upon our arrival. Had to use the plunger(luckily there was one) in order to get it slowly draining. Then midway through our stay, a maintenance crew come in to do perform handrail work in a stairwell. At the same time, it appeared the same crew put the elevator out of service and it remained out for over 24 hours. If it was truly down for a repair that is understandable but the coincidence of the stairwell work by the same crew at least seemed suspicious, especially since the elevator was returned to service shortly after I contacted the rental company; albeit by the same crew working on the stairs. As stated though, these inconveniences were minor overall and would not prevent me giving the complex another chance. The location is great and is in the area that we always try to stay when visiting.

We enjoyed it. It was a good size for our family of three as well as entertaining some of our family for drinks that was staying in another unit on the same property. Felt secure. I will say they need blackout curtains in the bedroom, as the electronic outdoor lights flooded through the shades.
