Stayed Jul 17, 2022This property was just okay. The check-in process was a little strange, as I had to check-in with another unit prior to our stay. The sliding glass door on the top level is broken, and weren’t able to lock it but they provided a 2x4 to keep door shut. The dishwasher was full and the dryer was still running with towels when we first arrived. The main parking space for the unit is between 2 very large trees and made it difficult to park with our large SUV. There’s a window in the shower of the main bedroom and it didn’t have a window cover. We found something in the unit to cover it when we showered. The secondary shower is bizarre and has many different nozzles and shower heads. The bath mats didn’t look clean and not sure how they clean the bigger blankets/ comforters. The check in time is at 5p/ check out is at 10a, and if you want to check in/ out earlier/ later, there’s additional fees. Be prepared to take sheets off all used beds and put all used towels in the washer before you depart. They’ll ask you to start a load of towels in the washer before you leave. If you don’t they’ll charged you. Seems like they want to nickel and dime you over things that should be included. You also have to take out the trash prior to your departure, which they provide you no location as to where to place it. There’s a big trash bin on the other side of the condos, close to the lake. The check-in info was given to me until 2 weeks prior to check in. The departing info was given via email on our second to last day of leaving. It would’ve been nice to have all info prior to booking the property. There’s no beach area in front of the condos, just a dock. Kings beach is a 8 minute walk from the unit. We decided to drive to kings beach and sand harbor as we had too much stuff to walk with. You’re a short walking distance to kings beach downtown area. Bring your fans if you’re staying in the summer months, it gets very warm inside. There was a nice view of the lake from the unit. It was quiet and peaceful.

Stayed Nov 24, 2020You cannot beat the views and location of this property! We stayed Thanksgiving week and had a nice time. We were able to sit on the decks and enjoy the view and take a quick walk down to the shore/pier. It was also a quick walk down a quite neighborhood street to the heart of Kings Beach. The place is very humble, lots of old furniture, bedding, and decor, but hey, it’s not the Ritz and you really can’t beat the view. Kitchen is fully stocked. The place could use a deep cleaning as the carpet was very stained, the fans and light fixtures had dust buildup and there was a musty smell, especially downstairs in the Master bedroom. Overall, I would stay here again.

Stayed Oct 23, 2020The property was not clean. One of the twin bed in downstairs bedroom had long hair all over the sheet, pillows and the comforter including the lamp shade. This automatically took the trust about cleanliness of the rest of the linens out of the equation. There was dust build up on many areas of the house with dried up food particle on the chairs next to the kitchen counter. The edges of these wooden chairs also had dust build up The patio furniture had ash particles from the recent fires all over them and dust build up too. There were twigs all over the patio including the furniture and seemed like it has not been cleaned in some time. The property itself had stale mushy smell as if it has not been aired in long time. Very disappointing experience and the valuable time wasted

Stayed Dec 25, 2017First off, don’t make the mistake I did and assume this property USB’s Brockway Springs, which is a nicer newer development with amenities. It’s not it’s Brockway Shores, which is an older property with no amenities. After I got over that shock the biggest issue was no WiFi. We called the numbers posted in the House which were all incorrect, then the property Mgmt company said someone could come out on Friday (this was Tuesday and we were leaving Saturday.) needless to say no one showed up on Friday so don’t expect WiFi if you rent this place. Plus side - the view is wonderful and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and it was clean. The carpet needs to be cleaned and the entire place updated. Installing granite countertops in the kitchen does not quite cut it. Also we left something there and the property Mgmt company still has not returned our correspondence.

Stayed Aug 18, 2017Three of us stayed at this incredible condo just steps away from Lake Tahoe and with views of the Lake from the downstairs and upstairs decks! The condo was well appointed with everything you need to enjoy your stay - so a big thanks to the owners/property mgmt company! The only surprise was that there was no shower on the upper level so that whoever stayed in that room had to go downstairs to shower. Not a deal-killer by any stretch (especially since I slept downstairs!). Also, our stay during the summertime left it a little hot on the upstairs level during the day. Of course, we didn't spend too much time there during the day so this was also not much of an issue. I would stay here again without question.
