    We absolutely loved the condo and the location—it was perfect for our trip. However, the Property Management company, Vacasa, made the experience frustrating and unnecessarily stressful. The condo owner should seriously reconsider their management choice. We had issues with the Wi-Fi network name and password provided—it was incorrect. Reliable Wi-Fi was crucial for us since the local AT&T tower was down, leaving us without cell service, and we needed to work and stay in touch with family. Despite contacting Vacasa through every available channel—phone numbers, the VRBO platform, and even their app—we were met with bots, automated replies, and unhelpful responses. It took over two days to get any meaningful communication, and even then, it was evident that not only were the representatives not local, their English was subpar and they couldn’t assist effectively. Out of sheer necessity, I tracked down the owner through public records, and they immediately responded with the correct Wi-Fi information. This entire ordeal could have been avoided if Vacasa had provided accurate details in the first place or addressed our concerns promptly. Their poor management not only left us stressed but also reflects poorly on an otherwise great property. As a VRBO owner myself, I know how important it is to respond quickly and ensure everything is in top condition.

    Truly would be a very long list of things that would frustrate anyone who is on a once a year vacay with distant family. I want to be done with this place and don’t want to waste any more of my brain space on this condo. Never with this company again!

    Family of 5 with adult kids had ample room. The place is within a short walk of two great restaurants (Thai and Italian), coffee and two ice cream stores! The beach is a short drive but there are so man6 wonderful beaches on the area to explore. Consider Alys Beach, it’s so unique. There were a couple of issues when we first arrived, which I communicated via text and received an immediate response. I look forward to visiting the area again and would stay here.

    Loved the location! Beach access wasn’t hard to get to. There were a few roaches in kitchen, but never seen anymore. There were times that a cold shower was taken.

    We just spent a week in Santa Rosa Beach and stayed in this little house. We picked this property because it came up when we searched for beachfront properties, but this is not a beachfront property and does not have access to the beach, FYI. However, the house was clean, it had everything we needed for the week, gave us absolutely no issues, and was fun to relax and hang out in. The home is in a gated community which was beautiful and seemed very peaceful and safe. Parking was no problem, and the walk from parking to the front door was under a minute. The keyless door allowed us to enter without having to swap keys between the 2 families. The balcony overlooked the pool which was nice because the adults could sit on the balcony and watch the teens swim down below. The pool is gated and requires a key card to access so people can't just come and go. The ice cream shop at the entrance to the community was so nice. We often walked to the shop to get ice cream after a long day at the beach. Overall, this was a cozy place to stay and I have no complaints about the property itself. I was just really disappointed that we had no beach access and the few public beach accesses they have on 30A were always jam packed. Check out the state park though. It was quite peaceful at the park and a tram brings you to and from the beach. I'd definitely stay here again. Thank you to the owners.

    We have been coming to this area for almost 9 years now, & love the Blue Mountain Beach area. This condo is in a great location, had plenty of amenities, was clean, tastefully decorated, & the check in/check out process was easy & very simple. It is in an easy bike ride to the Blue Mountain Creamery & public beach access. Condo is within a few minutes drive of the beach (parking may be difficult, but you can find it). It is too long of a distance to walk especially toting all our beach stuff. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a centrally located area to stay. Condo parking is a shared lot directly out the front door, community pool is visible from the balcony of this condo, there are plenty of food options closeby, numerous beaches nearby, & a short 20 min. drive into the city of Destin. Thank you, we had a blast!
