This is a Bradenton Beach vacation rental positioned between two of the most distinctive destinations on Anna Maria Island, both within easy walking distance.

Bridge Street is a few blocks south — waterfront restaurants, live music, unique shops, and the kind of evening that doesn't require planning. In the other direction, Cortez Village is a short walk away — Florida's oldest working fishing community, with dockside seafood markets, historic cottages, and a pace that hasn't changed much in a hundred years. Fishing piers on both the Gulf and bay sides are nearby.

Inside, the condo has been refreshed with updated decor and a well-configured layout. The master suite has a king bed. The guest bedroom has a queen bed. The living room has comfortable seating and a large-screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for meals at home. A full-size washer and dryer in the unit makes extended stays effortless.

The large heated pool is available for all building guests. Covered parking for two cars is included. Keyless entry means no key coordination on arrival.

Bridgeport Condo 209 requires a one-week minimum stay. Not pet-friendly.

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay in this condo! It was well stocked with everything we needed for the beach and cooking. The furniture was all very comfortable, and everything was very clean and tidy. The location is great with easy access to the beach (literally across the street!) and a short walk to bridge street for dining and shopping. It was nice to walk to Island Time and the Anna Maria Oyster Bar for dinners.As some reviewers have pointed out, it’s close to the bridge and there is some traffic noise. We packed a sound machine for the bedroom and didn’t have any trouble sleeping. The noise was sometimes annoying when trying to relax & watch tv, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us. Communication with Island Vacation Properties was easy and they were only a text away if we needed anything. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again.

    We loved everything about this place except the elevator was broken and our suitcases were heavy going up two floors. It was hard to see the numbers on the parking spaces as well as the front door. Everything was clean and looking forward to returning.

    Pros: Location location location. Excellent Well supplied with everything that you need some things that you don’t. Property management company was outstanding. We had a few hiccups in the beginning and they were taken care of within 24 hours. No problem Con: Noisy noisy noisy. Sirens, motorcycle s,hot rods. It was irritating. The entire condo complex is old and it shows.

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was fairly represented. The decor is tired, i.e., 70's. Linens/towels are poor quality. Lots of left over items from owners or previous renters, e.g., baking goods, laundry room supplies, etc. Needs a good cleaning of drawers, cabinets, etc., not just the big areas. Remove all kitchen utensils and dishware and purchase new basic items. It is hodgepodge old stuff. While it cannot change, it faces the busiest intersection in SW Florida - extremely loud noise from trucks, motorcycles, car radios, etc. - DAY AND NIGHT. Horrible, but it will not change. Takes 30-60 minutes to cross the Cortez bridge due to traffic flow and draw bridge. Good location to walk to restaurants, etc.

    My problem is with the booking agent. I called because there was a leak under the kitchen sink and it took two phone calls and two days for someone to come and repair the problem. The water pressure in the kitchen was extremely low and no one came to repair it. I rented the condominium for four weeks and the beginning of week two they were installing a roof on the complex which caused banging all day. I would have liked have been made aware of this before I made my final payment incase I wanted to alter my plans. Also, the small bedroom did not have sufficient light and could have used a ceiling fan as it became very stuffy. The master bedroom, however was beautiful.
