Breathtaking Views! Oceanfront Condo in Family Safe North Myrtle -Cherry Grove

Everything was wonderful. We had a great time. Right on the ocean. Wonderful views. Communicating was great and Joanne was great. We will be back. No problems at all.

The rooms were very nice. The outside of building could use a little cleaning but over all inside of rooms were very nice.

Check in instructions were easy to follow and clear. We loved having a beach wagon provided to get our toys and chairs down to the beach.

Location is everything. We wanted to try a beachfront unit walking distance to the Cherry Grove Point. Didn't love the building, didn't love the unit. Both a little long in the tooth. I was unaware the deck and beach access from the deck were closed when I booked and only learned that from reading the reviews just before leaving for our trip (to be clear we could easily access the beach on either side of the property just not by going through the pool area and off the deck). Layout-wise the unit was perfect for us. Loved the wet bar for coffee and wine service. The balcony and ocean views are perfect. To put it nicely, the unit is dated and in need of some updating and repairs, cosmetic and more such as bath and door hardware and old cabinets . The location is great and we walked the Cherry Grove Point every day but you should be aware of the tides because at high tide the beach is narrow here so everyone crunches together back at the dunes and everyday someone would camp directly in the lifeguards' drive lane along the dunes.Yes the washer was noisy.I never had a problem with the locks.Shower curtains needed to be cleaned.The master bedroom smart TV has a janky internet connection.The Sea Cabin pier and adjacent building have very bright noticeable lights on all night long.The exterior walkway carpet (elevator to unit doors) has to go and was waterlogged for our entire stay.

This Condo on the beach is an amazing vacation home. The location is top notch, quiet, clean but close enough to a few stores to get what you need for your stay. Joanne is very responsive to emails and helps with any questions. The property is clean and well stocked with kitchen appliances large & small, utensils, plates, pots & pans. This was our second time renting from Joanne and we plan to do it again.

The owner was great to communicate with. the condo was clean and able to access a little earlier than our check in time. Location was great wirh easy access to the beach ! Views were wonderful and we loved sitting and listening to the ocean in the evenings. Hoping to snag this great location in the future!

We had a great time in Myrtle Beach. Time flew by. The condo was great. Easy check in and check out. Only 2 complaints, first the clothes washer was very loud. I do not recommend running it at night. We didn't contact the host during our stay because we didn't want to deal with during our vacation I am sure they would have taken care of it. We just used it during the day time. 2nd is not that big of a deal and we were told about it before we went, but the key to get in the building is kind of a nuisance, if the building had a keypad that would be alot more convenient. Most places I've stayed have keypads and it does make it easier. All around we had a great time and would recommend this unit and the host to anyone going to Myrtle Beach.

We have stayed at the Carolina Dunes many times over the past 10 years. The condo is older but this unit is clean, spacious, and updated. You can't beat the view or location! Plus an indoor pool and hot tub. Host was very responsive and check in was very easy. We appreciated all the extras, like games, utensils, cookware, hand soap, etc.

Upon arrival, the lobby key took tremendous finagling before it would open and we were instructed by the owner to use an alternate door to access the condo. Once inside, the rental appeared slept in, bed covers hap-hazardously made with the decorative pillow in the corner of the bedroom. Ineffective shower drainage with water that pooled around our feet with a very moldy shower curtain in the master bath. Plus, the bathroom cabinet door detached in my husband’s hand when he tried to open it.The towels had questionable stains on them. Deteriorating exterior rocking chairs. Unclean sandy floors with a previous occupants bathing suit panty liner stuck to the floor.. Oven door partially broken and scratching the kitchen cabinet when trying to use it. Internal compartment of the microwave was rusted.We contacted the owner who sent the cleaning person over to give us clean towels, where we had to interrupt our vacation to hear excuses as to her inability to properly clean and care for her employers condo. In the end with a multitude of photos sent to the owner, we were offered a third of our prepaid cleaning fee refunded. No personal responsibility was taken for the uncomfortable condition we faced while renting this property. It’s simply unfair to us to be told by the owner that all items listed in our photos to her would be fixed for the next occupant to enjoy. Owners final communication was simply, “hopefully you enjoyed the beach and the weather.”

The access to the beach was great, the indoor pool was good, wasn't crowded at all. Communication with the owners was fine! I'm not one to leave bad reviews or complain BUT the microwave in the kitchen was nasty and the bathtub in the master bathroom was very slow at draining & hairs were on the shower wall!! Sorry but the cleaning people need to do better! Should've taken a pic.

This property was perfect for our guys weekend. Conveniently located, clean and comfortable with a stunning view from the balcony. Would love to stay here again.

Could use more comfortable seating in the living area. Enjoyed our stay.

3- 60+ women stayed for 8 days in waterfront condo. Elevator for easy access to floors. Heated indoor pool very relaxing. Hot tub nice. Conveniently located. Owner response quick when we needed something. Older building in need of fresh paint in the hallways and on metal doors.

Great place to stay. Close to everything you need. Clean and tidy and very spacious!

Loved the location! Not sure if cleaning service didn’t finish cleaning, but there were used towels left in the bathroom and the Wi-Fi service was not very good.

Great except hot tub did not work and pool was not heated

We loved the condo and thoroughly enjoyed the pool and beach! The building was a little run down and the hot tub and deck closed. The condo was clean and spacious ?

Great communication with property manager. Easy access to the beach. Closet with extra beach stuff in case you forget something. Three bedroom two bath spacious living room, dining room kitchen.
