You may never want to leave our newly remodeled Mammoth Bigwood condo 1 bed + loft/2 ba retreat even though ski, golf & Village are all within 5 min drive...With an environmentally friendly pellet stove, designer decor (West Elm, CB2, PB, etc.) including quartz countertops, marble backsplash as well as brand new floors, fixtures, appliances AND a garage! Bigwood condo also features a recently renovated community pool & spa, BBQ as well as laundry room.

I have thoroughly enjoyed designing this space to be a relaxing retreat for all who prioritize self-care, self-compassion and/or want an escape from the city life. Bigwood condo is a quiet, serene place and is suitable for families, couples, as well as professionals, so please no parties or loud noise.

This unit has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, electric range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, etc.) as well as three queen beds (and the sofa can be pulled out to be a full-size bed). The downstairs t.v. is equipped with cable and the loft has a Roku t.v. There is also free wifi within the unit.

The entire unit is heated by the pellet stove (which is controlled by thermostat and instructions/pellets are provided) including the ability of the upstairs loft windows to be opened. The downstairs bedroom also has its own heating unit.

There are many south-facing windows to enjoy the bright sunlight as well as a balcony with mountain views. Windows have top-down, bottom-up cellular shades to maximize the mountain views.

The garage is a necessity during the winter months; I am able to fit an Acura MDX parked backwards with mirrors folded in, but it is a tight space. There is also street parking as well. Bigwood also has a newly renovated pool and spa (access is seasonal/subject to COVID/Gov’t/HOA restrictions) as well as a community BBQ and laundry facility. There is video surveillance within the development in order to ensure compliance with condo rules/regulations.

We will offer a 10% discount for 7 night+ stays and price will be adjusted after reservation is booked. Not offered during holiday weeks (Thanksgiving, week of Christmas and after, spring break).

House Rules & Access
Our condo is really a beautiful, clean space and we are excited to share it, so please be respectful of the unit so all other guests may enjoy. Also, we would like to ask you to take your shoes off in the condo as the floors and carpet are brand new. There are stairs both outside and inside the condo unit, so please make sure all guests are able to climb stairs. Please note our condo is a smoke-free, drug-free and pet-free home.

Maximum occupancy is 8 guests, no exceptions.

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 10:00 a.m. unless prior approval given ($50 violation fee accessed). During the holidays, check-in times may be delayed due to increased unit turnovers, but notice will be provided as soon as possible. **Also, during the peak holiday season, the minimum number of nights will be increased.**

Location
Bigwood condo is located right next to Sierra Star Golf Course (less than 5 min walk). The Yellow Line shuttle to Eagle Lodge and the Village is .25 miles away and Chair 15 is .75 miles away.

    Great location. Very clean. Enjoyed the stay. Lettering and numbering a little tricky making finding the garage and unit a bit challenging especially when arriving in the dark. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

    The property is very clean and modern. The benches by the window are the favorite spots for our family and spend a peaceful evening. Although it is pretty close to lake Mary road, you cannot hear any traffic noise with the windows closed. The host is very responsive. I have no complaints. Please note that there are quite some stars to access this second floor unit which is not a problem for my family. The loft area do get pretty hot during the summer (80F when the outside is around 90F) but it does cool down when you open the window in the evening.

    The condo was VERY clean. The decor very nice. Loved all the windows so we could enjoy the views. Enjoyed sitting by the window to read every day. It was close (a couple of blocks to the yellow line) to the public shuttle and close to Eagle Lodge for the family to go snowboarding. This one is definitely saved for future use. Hoping to be back this summer.

    Clean place. A little difficult to find if you arrive after dark. Very small parking space in garage. Unit gets very warm ( stayed during summer) so a few extra fans or AC would have been nice.

    Starting with the booking and first communication it was a pleasure dealing with Nancy. She provided us with all the necessary information and details in advance. The property is soooo nice, everything was new and clean. The kitchen was nicely equipped and well stocked with table-/silverware and whatever else we needed. The bedrooms had plenty of bedding and the mattresses were so comfy. Nancy was also very responsive when we had a couple of questions during our stay. Conclusion: We'll be back...

    My family (including two young kids) stayed here for a long weekend in the summertime. The property provided a great home base for adventuring around Mammoth. It has been nicely (and recently) renovated and is close to most of the good restaurants, the ski lifts, and the Mammoth lakes.
