Stayed Jul 7, 2025Great little place in the center of all the action of LaJolla shores. It can be a little loud in the early morning when the trash picks up, but that was about all we experienced. Nothing out of the ordinary. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Mar 1, 2025What a charming cottage with beautiful ocean views! Great location in the heart of downtown walkable to the beaches, restaurants, etc. Mgmt Co was very responsive from beginning to end taking care of everything so I could have a wonderful stay. Welcome bottle of wine was a thoughtful touch and delicious!

Stayed Oct 31, 2024This place has spectacular views and is conveniently located. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return! I do wish there was a tad more countertop space or additional shelf to use for extra space in the bathroom (doing makeup, hair etc.) The local trash and delivery truck traffic is quite noisy on the inside and starts early. That was the ONLY downside.

Stayed Oct 24, 2024This clean, very nice property is a perfect location for staying in the hub of shops, restaurants, oceans views and beach. I gave this place a 5 star because of the cleanliness and attentiveness of the staff. However, know that because of it's location and lack of adequate insulation you will hear street noise. Another reviewer mentioned early morning delivery and garbage trucks and boy is that correct. Every morning of our stay we were awakened between 530 -630 am by this noise. So, if your looking for a place of beauty within walking distance to most things and you don't mind not be able to sleep in without ear plugs, this is the place for you!

Stayed Dec 25, 2023This unit has significant trade-offs. It should be noted that there are likely over a dozen popular restaurants within 100 yards, which is a good thing, but this also means dozens of noisy garbage and recycling trucks, food delivery trucks, and other restaurant-related trucks delivering items every day between 6am-9am. It also means loud restaurant/bar patrons during 6pm-11pm or later. The apartment is new and well appointed and clean inside, but structurally, the building is old and there is poor insulation and windows to keep noise out. There is also bright exterior lighting intentionally positioned onto the building to promote the shops below when it's dark (even though they're closed when it's dark). However, it also lights up the interior of apartment because there are not enough blinds/drapes to keep the light out. On-street parking is a challenge at all hours. There is off-street parking provided about 5-10 minutes walk away with approximately 50 stairs in between. It is also a challenge to get in and out of the parking structure. Bring your eye mask, ear plugs, and melatonin if you want to sleep. Also, do not bring a truck or SUV.
