Stayed Feb 3, 2026The condo was clean and well appointed. Hot tubs were convenient and clean. Location is easy for skiing , walking to grocery or deli. The heat in the condo unfortunately is off kilter though. We had it set around only 60 and lower but the actual temp remained around 71 and condo was so hot we had to keep a door open frequently and sleep with a window open slightly. We never reported this however because we had already reported an odd, repetitive, high pitch whirring noise that was highly annoying when all was quiet. Some hours of the night it occurred every 20 minutes. Maintenance came but the sound did not repeat during their 30 minute stay. Hard as we tried, We could not identify the source. It was unfortunate. We liked everything else about the condo but the heat and noise.

Stayed Aug 3, 2021Property was very clean and well cared for. Looked just like the photos. Kitchen was well equipped, Could have used a dedicated space for groceries. We had every meal on the large covered balcony. Awesome property and location.

Stayed Feb 21, 2021We’ve skied as a family many times at Steamboat and the condo at Bear Lodge did not disappoint. We all agreed that the condo was exceptional!

Stayed Jul 30, 2019Loved this condo but had some questions and did not have success in reaching this property manager. Would have been nice to have used the sound system but there were no instructions and couldn’t get ahold of anyone to explain. Also, instructions on how to cool the unit were not efficacious. Would be basic to have liquid dish soap there to wash some dishes by hand. Also, was confusing to have paid for property insurance through the listing and then upon check in finding out it is required to charge $500 for property damage as well. That should be in the listing as well.

Stayed Jul 18, 2019The condo was fabulous and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Nicely located near the base of the mountain, but it would be a short walk to the gondolas for skiing. (We stayed in summer, so that was not an issue.) Located about 2 miles from downtown SS. The pool at Bear Lodge was small but adequate. The hot tubs were not really very hot the first day, but they turned up the temperature after that and they were fine. Condo had washer/dryer, too, which was nice since we got a bit muddy and dusty from our summer activities. The only thing to note is that the front desk will also require a $500 damage deposit at check-in, so you're paying both VRBO and Trappeur's Crossing. That means that around $750 is collected for damage deposits, which is ridiculous. We fully expect to get ours back, so I'm not worried about it, but that's a little over the top.

Stayed Feb 16, 2019Great condo for our family of 4. Plenty of space and storage for our ski stuff. Good pool and hot tubs. Great location with frequent bus service. My only complaint is that it was very hot in our unit the whole time between 73 and 80 degrees even though we kept the heat off.

Stayed Jan 16, 2019Stayed here for 4 nights and it was very good. Very nice accommodation with perfect location to get to the slopes. Loved the shuttle service. We used it a lot and the drivers were so friendly with great recommendations for dinner locations. Only thing to knock was the thermostat. Even with it off, the place did get warm at time so we opened an outside door to let it cool. But I would highly recommend this place and would come again!
