It is located in a great part of Palm Springs. Downtown and shopping close by. I felt safe. Very kid friendly and would recommend. I would not recommend for couples who are looking for quiet and relaxing down time. However, great for families and for parents who want to watch their children in the pool while enjoying tasty beverages.
The check-in process was easy and the staff were very accommodating. However, the place to stay in was very disappointing. The hallway to the room had stains, trash was in the floor and it had a bad smell. The carpet in the unit was bad and starting to bunch up in places. The couch was stained and the mattress for it was bad. The couch when opened had crushed tortilla chips on the mattress. The bed in the master was fine. The mattress was great and provided a good night's sleep. The bathroom tub was clogged and I had to stand in ankle deep water for my shower. I went to the registration desk and the friendly staff sent someone right up and he was able to get a piece of plastic out of the tub which made it drain for the remainder of the stay. We did not cook anything, so I cannot say anything about the kitchen. The TV remote did not work in the living room and we just used the one from the bedroom in both places. The pool was not disappointing. It is the gem of the resort, along with the view of the mountain across the street. It was very disappointing to have to spend the amount that I spent to stay here to be in a run down unit that had a bad smell. The property is old (at least where we stayed). The unit did not really have much of a view. The pictures are misleading of the unit and to be a Diamond Resort, you would think that the place would be cleaner and better taken care of for guests.
