Best Condo with Office Ocean View at El Zalate!

My husband and I have booked multiple properties through VRBO over the years. I can say with certainty that Jodi was the most responsive, helpful and the promptest to answer queries that host we have ever had.That makes such a difference and we appreciated it very much.

Jodi's condo is amazing. It is also very reasonably priced compared to other (similar or inferior) properties in Los Cabos. The view from the balcony is stunning and very relaxing. Communication from Jodi is flawless and very courteous. Extra bonus points for the check-in process which is as simple as it gets. All in all, this is a perfect place to Stay in San Jose del Cabo. Will definitely come back!

My wife and 2 daughters and I spent 3 nights in this very nice, well-equipped condo in San Jose del Cabo. The condo has a great view of the ocean, is very comfortable, and is equipped with everything you need for a beachfront vacation. The pool area is very nice and is well-suited for quiet relaxation as well as play for fun-loving kids. The beach is quiet and beautiful, with moderate waves and excellent swimming. We loved it!

We just got back from San Jose del cabo. today, October 21st. The condo was beautiful and comfortable for us. There were 6 adults. I slept in the master bedroom king sized bed and it was very comfortable. We loved the pools and hot tub and spent hours in them. The beach in front of the condo was beautiful but it was not swimmable for us this time year. Although there were surfers out there most days. We rented a car and I would definitely recommend it. We loved Rossy's restaurant and went twice and also loved Blue Fish restaurant for good sea food. 7 Seas was good too but pretty expensive. We loved having the car for going to the near by store La Comer to get groceries, restaurants, and beaches. Our favorite beach was Santa Maria. We saw some pretty fish snorkeling on the far right side by the rocks. We also had fun relaxing under free palapas at Palmilla beach and we were able to rent kayaks there too which we loved. The kayaks were $20 per kayak for an hour an a half. Chileno beach was swimmable too and we had a great time there. It was mostly locals as was palmilla. The condo complex was pretty empty so we felt like we had it to ourselves, which was lovely. We were almost always alone down at the pool. Overall we had a wonderful week in San Jose!

The condo was beautiful, the view fabulous. It has all the amenities anyone could want for a relaxing beach vacation. The grounds and pools are kept in tiptop shape.

Beautiful, well-kept condo in a very nice community. We were here on Easter Weekend and it was very quiet and not many people. The ocean view is incredible! The condo is clean and nicely appointed. Jodi, the owner, was great to work with. Only about 10 minutes away from the quaint downtown district of San Jose Del Cabo. The beach here is wonderful and very peaceful. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway and we found it! We will definitely consider returning to this El Zalate property and recommend it to friends and relatives.

Condo is spectacular. Beautiful building, clean, high end everything! Better than we even imagined from the description and pictures. Pool and grounds amazing. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Jodi was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions. Highly recommend.

We are so happy with our visit to this unit and complex. Everything was as promised, and the owner made the transaction very easy. The weather was perfect! Warm, low humidity, and no bugs!! The unit had the most well stocked kitchen we had ever seen. We were impressed to find a crock pot, storage containers, measuring cups, cookie sheets, binoculars (one set was missing from the case), games, and beach towels. The bedrooms and bedding were very comfortable. Our favorite spot was the patio. We saw every sunrise, and there were blankets on the comfy chairs to keep us warm in the early mornings. Nice touch! The pool and ocean views were exactly what we hoped for when we booked this particular unit. The complex and residents are extremely nice, and the landscapers are meticulous. The complex itself is generally quiet with families. (Any condo along this corridor is going to have highway and construction noise, and this one was no exception. Can't hear it from the beach or inside the condo though.) We spent a lot of time on the beach and used the warning flags at the resort next door as our guide for wading. We saw people swimming and paddle boarding right in front of the complex. Our daughter flagged down the vendor and went horseback riding from there too. We rented a car. It took a couple of days to get used to the traffic pattern, and the drivers are aggressive with little regard for stop signs or speed limits. But by the middle of the trip, we adjusted. We met people who didn't have a car, and they walked about 20 minutes to the grocery store every morning. The El Comer grocery store (previously Mega) is in a plaza with a Starbucks, McDonalds, and Dairy Queen. Right outside the complex is an OXXO convenient store to the left and Trader Dick's Market to the right. We went to Trader Dick's several times for homemade pico and guacamole...delicious. We also walked up to Sardina Cantina a few times...best chicken tenders ever!! We spent one day in CSL. Ate at Soloman's Landing, shopped, and took the Sunset Cruise through EcoCat...all recommended. We visited the square in San Jose Del Cabo to shop. Would like to eat and spend more time there. We had originally planned to do many more activities (snorkling, whale watching, Flora Farms, golfing, fishing), but we were so comfortable laying by the pool and beach, that we decided to just relax. We plan to return and hope to stay at El Zalate and this unit again!

This was our third visit to the Cabo area. Each time we have stayed in a different location, renting through VRBO (Casa del Mar, Terrasol, and most recently El Zalate). All have been great experiences, but our family agreed that we like this condo at El Zalate the best. This condo was just the right size for our family of four and we love the location. The pools were lovely and beach access (we all swam in the ocean) couldn't have been better. We always rent a car but depending on what you like to do, you may not need to. Our favorite restaurants tend to be in San Jose so I think we just made two trips into Cabo the entire week. This condo was spotless and well equipped with all instructions and tips easy to follow. We didn't feel the need to use the air conditioning and instead used the ceiling fans and sliding glass doors to keep things cool. The grounds are beautiful and very secure. There appeared to be a mix of owners and renters there that week (Christmas). It is a quiet complex - there isn't any onsite food/drink service but we aren't big partiers and didn't really miss that. It is friendly and there was a great mix of ages/families by the pool each day - but never crowded. We walked to Zippers for lunch one day and had a fun meal. We took long walks on the beach most mornings. This a wonderful unit and spot!!!
