Welcome to this tranquil 570sf One bedroom, one bath condominium with peeks of the Bay across the street. This custom designed home features reflective lacquer painted walls and ceilings throughout. The kitchen, with its Bertazzoni gas stove and huge maple topped island, provides the anchor for this open space. Even if you don’t cook, the kitchen is beautiful to look at while enjoying a beverage at the island or while lounging on the yacht style custom built in banquettes. Custom cabinetry, decorative fireplace, antique lighting and vintage stools contribute to the stunning living area. The queen bedroom is in the rear of the apartment and has another gorgeous antique light fixture and a window air conditioning unit. The bath is outfitted with Waterworks fixtures including a rain shower and handmade subway tiles.
The property is professionally landscaped with flowering plants in the front and the rear yards. There are many different sitting areas around the property from which to enjoy the tranquility.

Fantastic place! Initially, I booked this place as a romantic holiday getaway. However, my stay ended up being solo. This place was the perfect place to get cozy and meditate, read, and reflect. The location was superb — close to the action and removed enough for a peaceful walk on the beach.
When we saw this listing we knew that this would be the perfect house for our Spooky Bear weekend. The moody green lacquered walls, the bohemian style decor, and the dark woods made for an amazing fall getaway in Ptown. The location is top notch, right off of Commercial St. and only a 3-5 minute stroll to tea dance and all of the restaurants and shops that Ptown has to offer. Clean, well equipped, and charming. We will certainly be booking this beautiful home again!
Plenty of light with the blinds open. Did not trip over stools. Kitchen could have be better equipped.
My husband and I recently spent a week here. The condo definitely has a very specific flavor with its dark green walls and Asian flares. While on the small side, it's terrifically appointed -- and the neighborhood can't be beat. The only issue we had is that there is not enough lighting in certain areas (the living room and kitchen in particular) so it sometimes made it difficult to find things. I think it would be a good idea to either add brighter standing lamps or consider additional lighting in another way. But other than that, highly recommend 98 Commercial.
Great location and traditionally decorated home. Beautiful outdoor space on a quiet street.
Great spot with natural garden and distinct interior design point of view. It was a little dark, but was brightened by the natural flower garden outside and central on the Westside map.
The property was absolutely gorgeous. From the rustic garden entrance to the HIGHLY decorated interior it was just a wonderful little find on the West End of town. The only things that i would ding are the checkin process (you have to go to the realty office to pick up the keys which is up on the 400 block of Commercial, the opposite direction of the property. not bad but it’s a hike), and the wrought iron stools around the kitchen island. They are beautiful but I did bang my foot/toes on them a few times. These are obviously nitpicky things and should definitely not deter you from booking this beautiful space if it’s available. Thank You!
This isn’t our first time renting this beautiful apartment and won’t be our last. The location is great, on Commercial but on the West End, a hop and a skip to Sal’s Place and a 10 minute walk to the Red Inn. It’s quiet but the foot traffic provides good people watching. The space is moody and atmospheric, think chic ship’s quarters with an antique trade route aesthetic. You can see the bay from the built in sofa benches. The home is well cared for and very comfortable. The garden and backyard are a bonus though we’ve not made much use of them. Communication with the property manager was really good, we even extended our stay. There is parking off site but just a short walk. All in all not your typical Provincetown guest house, but that’s what makes it such a treasure. Of note, the Yoga Joint is a 2 minute walk from the house and terrific (Chase was our instructor).
Clean, well decorated, well designed space.
Where do I start. Whether you arrive at 7am or 3pm you’ll need a flashlight. It’s quite dark considering you’re in Ptown and you expect fresh and bright. Not what we expected from the photos. It doesn’t matter if you lift the blinds up and turn on all the light switches (if they work), it’s still dark and heavy. There’s no way to really relax with the benches and you’ll need steel toes shoes to maneuver around the apartment. Otherwise you’ll stub your toe on the island bar stools. You’ll need to do a side shimmy through the narrow hallway especially if you’re 6 feet tall and over 200lbs. The bed is listed as queen but looks and feels like a full. The kitchen has ants, the second floor apartment owner warned us about and informed us pest control would be coming on Monday, two days after our check out. The bathroom: the glass shower door is sagging which makes it difficult to fully close the door as it was scraping the tile. The shower backed up and there was a stream of water outside of the shower near the sink. Not from the door. The valves would turn to HOT as you are showering making the water extremely hot. A few tiles were separating from the right side lower wall and there is mold around the base of the shower floor. Hardwoods had water damage and are buckling. All of this was brought up to the property manager which he contacted the owner. The owner had excuses for everything and didn’t care to credit us anything. Oh there isn’t a grill either as it was listed but after we complained he told the PM to remove it. I guess he has it but he never put it together. The property manager eventually did credit us $200.00 because of no grill. Finally the parking spot is nice to have but it is two blocks away on Bradford. Not very convenient but at-least you had a place to park.
We adore this space. It is in a beautiful neighborhood just past the noisy portions of Commercial Street. It has a huge back yard and a beautiful garden in the front. Our pups loved the people watching and views of the ocean right across the street. The condo is beautifully designed and makes good use of every inch of the space. We would love to return every year.
Stayed here before and it’s always a pleasure to return. Slight hiccup when we arrived and the apartment had not been cleaned and prepped for our late arrival. Manager was very efficient in communication to quickly resolve the next day and refunded first night. Perfect stay and charming him away from home in the beautiful West End. Will be back again!
