You cannot get a better view of the splendor than from our newly updated deck! The exterior of our condo buildings were just repaired and painted and we'd love for you to enjoy them.
Take in gorgeous water views from this spacious one bedroom condo located on Lake Michigan inside the Homestead Resort property on M-22 in Glen Arbor, MI. Very private location, lake and river views, gated parking by the beach, and beautiful sunsets over the lake.
It is important to note that the Bedroom does not have a door that closes. So, although there is some distance between the bedroom and the living area, the bedroom is open to the hallway that leads to the living room-kitchen combination. See pictures for more details.
Awesome location on two bodies of water: Lake Michigan and the Crystal River. Enjoy a breathtaking view from a deck overlooking the river, Lake Michigan, the Manitou Islands, and Sleeping Bear Point. You will be only 2 miles from the quaint town of Glen Arbor and 20 miles from all the action in Traverse City.
Tube, kayak or SUP on the Crystal River all the way out to Lake Michigan! Walk the beach, stroll along the riverbank, or walk the boardwalk which stretches for blocks, just outside the condo building. Hike or bike the nearby paved Heritage Bike Trail to scenic Northern Michigan destinations.
In the winter you can enjoy the Homestead Resort ski hill for downhill excitement! Or explore the National Shoreline on cross country skis and snowshoes! There are miles of trails inside the Resort and more just a short drive away.

This privately owned unit is nestled on the water in a discreetly gated property. No public check in required. The unit is on the second floor of the building and is not handicap accessible.
Note: Although the condo is located inside the Homestead Resort, it is not a resort-owned property, it is privately owned. The Homestead Resort Pools and Tennis Courts are not available for use. You WILL have access to all of the resort amenities that are open to the public, such as all grounds and beach area, most of the restaurants, golf (ski hill in the winter), spa, salon, and the shops in the Village.
The views from the condo out over Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands were spectacular. Ideal distance from Glen Arbor, Leland, Suttons Bay, and Traverse City-perfect for day trips to each! The Homestead was a perfect combination of peaceful quiet and adventurous hiking trails. The condo was clean and afforded comfortable living space for our trip!
Nestled in the beautiful Homestead resort, this quiet 1 bedroom condo was perfect for our needs. We didn't spend much time inside because of easy access to hiking and biking, but when we were, it suited us well. We ended each day watching the sunset on the beach, and slept soundly in the comfortable bed.
Easy access to the beach and Glen Arbor was 5 minutes away. Perfect! Played a lot of golf also at Sugar Loaf.
Nice quiet little place on the river, just a quick walk over a footy to Lake Michigan. Kitchen and bath areas are small but worked fine for the two of us. Cozy deck for relaxing and enjoying the view.
We enjoyed two nights at this cozy Tall Timbers condo. The location is hard to beat. Spectacular sunsets and easy beach access with views of Sleeping Bear Dunes. Close to Glen Arbor, bike trails and hiking trails. Lots to do. Only suggestion is provision of a few beach chairs and towels for those of us flying into Traverse City.
A great little place to rest our heads while enjoying Lake Michigan. Enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony and sunsets down at the lake. The property manager was responsive and accommodating. We neglected to bring enough of our own kitchen supplies, but found stores nearby to get what we needed.
Beautiful sunset. Things we liked: Bathroom remodel, excellent shower, soft towel, comfortable living room furniture, balcony, comfortable bed, and good closet/dresser space. Problems: none
the location is phenomenal - so much to do right out the front door! we stayed with 2 young kids and they had so much fun playing in the river and on the beach. The place was super clean and check-in/check-out was a breeze. I highly recommend!
This unit is perfect for a couple or small family. Proximity to the beach is the best in The Homestead. Great sunset views. Glen Arbor town is a 5 minute drive away.
Enjoyed our stay. Pretty peaceful except for 2 German shepherds barking at every movement which were in the unit next to us. Otherwise a good location. Very convenient to bike trails. Would make a return trip.
Last minute trip: Found this perfect gem close to Sleeping Bear Dunes which was the birthday mission. Perfect location. Great view, access to the river and beach. Communication and instructions were spot on and I’d recommend this condo to anybody visiting the area. I look forward to visiting again.
Lovely condo in great location. Super sweet hostess. The only problem was it was midge season. Yuk
We enjoyed our stay. Great location, very clean, great views, comfy bed/sheets, plush towels… definitely recommend
Perfect for R&R
Condo was just okay. What immediately hits you is the musty odor upon entering the condo building. The condo itself had a musty, stuffy smell as well, but with opening the sliding door to balcony and putting ceiling fans on, the smell dissipates. Area rug in living room kept folding up and was not adequately anchored to floor creating a potential safety problem. The saving grace for the property was the location. Able to watch sunsets from balcony and look out to the lake and Crystal river.. Stunning views! Beach was a short walk and was pristine and nearly empty. Good time to visit this area, beginning of September!
Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of northwestern Michigan! The condo is outdated and small, but the location made it worth it!
Great experience. Very comfortable. Great communication and information from owner.
Great location and loved the proximity to the beach. The condo was comfortable but definitely small and could use a couple of things to make the stay a bit more comfortable (better lighting in the bathroom and bedroom) but the location can’t be beat. Convenient to Glen Arbor and all it has to offer. Great to walk down and enjoy sunsets on the beach.
Well maintained, recently renovated condo at the Homestead - the most fantastic place in the Glen Arbor area. we decided a bit late to come up for this week, so pickings were slim (book EARLY!) and we were so relieved we found this place. It was definitely a squeeze for four of us, but we gladly made it work. Everything else couldn't have been easier. It would be perfect for 2.
Location was great. Living area in condo was smaller than we expected. Next time we will inquire about square feet. No dishwasher :( Condo was sparsely furnished and needs serious updating. Cups were chipped and not safe to drink from…we went out and bought our own. Washer and Dryer in basement was connvenient.
wonderful
Great location and amazing sunsets. Can't wait to come back again for another visit.
We had an amazing time at our condo overlooking the Crystal River and Lake Michigan. Karen was amazing to work with and we loved the condo, the view and the whole experience. Thank you Karen!!!
Michigan at her best!
Great stay for our 15th Anniversary weekend. Phenomenal view and sunsets. Cozy, clean and quiet. Compact kitchen if you choose to do meals in and close to all the wonderful dining Glen Arbor has to offer. Cozy bed, serene vibe to the decor. Easy space to relax in and forget your worries. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the lake.
