We recently stayed at an OC Rental property and overall had a mixed experience. The house was very clean and in a perfect location, just a short walk to the beach—which was a huge plus.However, there were several issues worth noting. Upon arrival, we discovered the refrigerator was not working. We later learned this was a known, ongoing issue. Unfortunately, we lost approximately 500 worth of groceries, which was extremely frustrating. While the owner refunded us for the spoiled food, we had to rely on coolers for the first four days of our stay. Additionally, we had to sacrifice 1/2 of a beach day to stay at the house and accept delivery of the new refrigerator, which was a major inconvenience.Beyond that, while the house advertised 10, the furniture accommodations didn’t comfortably support that number. The kitchen table and living room seating were limited, making it difficult for everyone to gather or eat together.The mattresses also left much to be desired, with several needing replacement. The bed in the red room was missing a box spring, and the mattress was flat and uncomfortable.With improvements to both comfort and appliance reliability, this property could be a great beach rental. We appreciated the location and cleanliness but hope to see these concerns addressed for future guests.

NO COMPLIANTS FAMILY ENJOYED THE VACATION AND THE PROPERTY

Beautiful home located close to the beach, bay, boardwalk, restaurants and all things fun, almost don’t want to give this place a good review so it’s not booked when I want it! That’s how nice this place is!

The house was not cleaned before our arrival. There was stains and hair everywhere. Although the house was nice it was not maintained well. The amount of dust actually made my kids keep coughing. The property manager was responsive but it was very disappointing given the amount we paid.

Great location near the Boardwalk and beach. Garage parking for two cars - Pilot and Outback. Great kitchen for cooking and visiting with family gathered around the bar height counter. Owner was very responsive to questions. Remember to bring your own linens, towels, kitchen towels. The house has three floors. You have to carry your luggage, groceries, etc up steps. We did fine with the steps, but had we brought my 90 year old mother, it would have been a challenge. Everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you.

It was a pleasure to stay here. With having health issues it was a perfect location and comfortable to hang in. Thanks for having us.

Everything was as advertised! Christina was responsive and friendly. Can’t beat the location specifically for what we were in town for.

The location of this property was nice. Just a street or two over from the beach and boardwalk. All of the patios were very relaxing. There were no towels, but the listing does say to bring your own. Bring a blanket or two if people plan to sleep on the couch. Some of the pillows did not have pillow cases.

Very much as advertised carribean-styled with warm colors and was really comfortable for 3 families. We noticed at the last minute we were supposed to bring our own linens + towels, which wasn't a problem but is just odd for a very nice rental. Also there's a cleaning fee assessed but with noticeable sand through most of the rooms and dusty/not quite clean bathrooms, worst in the double bed room (kids room?) with noticeable mold growing around the vent. Made a very nice stay and incredible location a little less than stellar.

Lovely, clean house. Great location. Just note that if you have little kids of older family members, there are a lot of steps. But, great privacy and the owner was easy to communicate with.

Everything was great. Tons of space. Appreciated the garage.

Incredible place for your family vacation

Pros: -Great Location -Each bedroom has a full bathroom -parking for two vehicles (Tahoe and a Traverse fit) -easy communication with owner -enough group for a large group Cons: -When you arrive, the house will be 80 degrees…that’s way too warm for a multiple level house when trying to unpack..it took about 6-7 hours for the house to finally hit 70 degrees -The fridge and freezer didn’t work fully..I think it was because the house was way too warm to keep up..I was worried our lunch meat was going to expire because the fridge was too warm…we had drink packets that you put in the freezer for a slushy and they never froze! -The house needs a deep clean..when we arrived, we took our shoes off at the door..after about 15 mins the bottom of our feet was black!!! We had to wash our feet multiple times a day because of the floors!! There’s also like stains on the walls..a good scrub and a paint job would make the house perfect! -no linens provided and also no toilet paper and paper towels…make sure you bring all of that! -musty smell in the master bedroom

Good location, 1.5 blocks from the boardwalk, clean, large 4 story building with 2 car garage. I suggest adding a dresser drawer in each br, replace the mattresses. Otherwise very good.
