    First off, you cannot beat this location. It is so close to Canyon Lodge and makes it so easy to grab a few extra winks in the morning before going out to shred the pow. The check-in process was a little cumbersome as the management office where you get your keys is a street behind it and not very easy to find. The bad cell service and mounds of snow made it very tricky for us to find the office. I think they should do better to show you on a map where the office is compared to the rental location so renters know immediately where they need to go and that it is very close. We drove around for a bit and just happened to get lucky and find it. Second, the bed was great. Comfortable and did not feel movement of other occupant. Third, the rental needs to replace those couches. The cushions have given up and you feel the rim of the couch digging into your legs. I ended up sitting on a pillow but it was really uncomfortable. Fourth, we were very surprised to find that the TV did not have the ability to launch any apps. I was disappointed that it didn't have any tv service at all (which I know some units do not), but to have a tv that was so old that it could not even launch netflix or any other streaming app was very disappointing. The tv in the bedroom served no purpose either. Luckily, I was able to locate an HDMI cord and one of our laptops had an HDMI port so we were able to log in through our computer to watch sports and movies in the evenings after dinner. They advertise that they have a big 65 inch tv but they don't tell you to bring your own stuff to hook into it otherwise it will be useless. It's really a great location and the staff was responsive (someone parked in our spot one evening and they came to address the situation in a reasonably timely fashion). For a very small investment of new couches and two new tvs, this would be a place I would consider renting again. Without those upgrades, I'd likely look for somewhere that does have those things and is still close to Canyon Lodge.

    The location can't be beat. Right across the street from the lodge. The decor is very dated, but it feels homie. The Balcony had about 18 of snow on it so we couldn't use that, which was really unfortunate, as the view from the balcony would have been much better.
