Beautiful Grand Traverse Bay Condo at The Shores

My issue was when you looked at the photos it showed a pool. We didn’t have a pool. It showed a beach. It had chairs, but it had dead birds all over it so we end up spending our weekend in the public park. Overall, the host was great that the unit was clean. Our experience just wasn’t what we were expecting.

Condo was clean. It was a short walk to the beach. Right off hwy 31 and not far from traverse city.

I was in town for a work conference, and this was perfect. It was close to the venue, it was quiet and the property inside and out was beautiful. The host was amazing to work with and very kind. I hope to stay here again next year.

Great condo, perfect for a quick getaway to Traverse City. Penny was so easy to book with and communicate with. She provided some great suggestions to make the most of our trip. We were able to catch some beautiful sunsets just a short walk from the condo.

Lovely well appointed condo; clean, uncluttered, and central location to our activities

We had a wonderful stay here on our first visit to the Traverse City area. We have a 2 year old who really enjoyed the private beach that was very sheltered and shallow so he could walk around in it without getting knocked down. The grounds are clean and quiet and there are tons of resources nearby.. gas, food and a Meijer. The condo was very clean had a great view of the creek behind the unit and was a short walk to the gas station if we needed something quickly. There is also a short trail you can enjoy that was very peaceful. We saw ducks and rabbits every time we went for a walk. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment and I am very grateful for a normal height regular sized table that we could all eat at as a family. Owner was easily accessible throughout our stay and even helped me through some bumps with making my first VRBO reservation.

This condo was everything and more than I expected. Location was convenient. The beach was close and grounds were clean and beautifully kept.

The Shores condo is in a nice location. Access to the pool and beach are great! The condo is in a bit of a remote spot which is perfect for avoiding crowds. Penny was quick to reply and very accommodating. Her place is clean, comfy and cozy. We’d definitely consider staying again.

Perfect for a quick weekend before dropping off my son at summer camp. Very quite and convenient to enjoy the beach.

Very nice condo. Nice area, very quiet. Owner offered early check in which was great! Beach was just a short walk away (although list pictures made it seem closer). My only suggestion would be to clearly state what parts of the beach area guests are allowed in.

Our stay in this condo was perfect for my wife and I. I had a conference at the Grand Traverse Resort a mere 5 minutes away. I enjoyed having our own space, not a hotel room. All the amenities- refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, dishes, real silverware, made it feel very comfortable. Having a bedroom, a nice open area for kitchen, dining, and living room, door wall opening to a nice deck was definitely a positive. The Condo was very clean and decorated very thoughtfully. I could tell the host really thought about details in every aspect of the place. I highly recommend this condo for anyone wanting a nice, quiet, peaceful place to relax.
