Stayed Aug 8, 2024The grounds and room was well maintained and cared for. Everything is keyless/keycardless entry and relies on key pad codes, which made it easy to hop out onto the lake and back without worrying about your things. This area is super super quiet and low key compared to north Tahoe, while providing many of the same options for water sports and relaxation on the lake itself. Definitely enjoyed being at Donner lake more than north Tahoe for this reason during my stay… which was super convenient since the condo is literally in the lake and there complex shares a parking lot with the marina. So it was super convenient and easy to leave the room, rent something to enjoy the lake, and return…. It was all right there for you. There is a small convenience store/gift shop across the street and not far down the road there is a small grocery store. If you are looking for a laid back, chill, and quiet time on the lake… this is the spot for you.
