Beautiful beachfront condo with shared pool and playground

Enjoyed our stay. Located close to restaurants, shopping etc. Property was well maintained, pools were clean and we really liked our room.

Close to the beach and all the shopping nearby! Will definitely be back next year!

The condo was really nice and clean, but there was a fishy smell when you walked in. Also the screen on the balcony was broken. But we really enjoyed our stay.

Condo was clean and well stocked. Edgewater property was beautiful with friendly and helpful staff.

Very convenient location, perfect location for shopping and going to the beach. Plenty of room in the condo for 4 adults. Check in and check out processes were very easy and fast.

Very dirty floors, dinette table chairs were absolutely filthy with old bacon left in the cushions!!

Enjoyed our time. Location is great. Beaches are super. Suggestions: more signs; gate attendant on duty; more directives within the unit.

We have stayed at Edgewater several times over 20 years. The condo had been updated and smelled and looked really clean when we arrived. We checked in on Sat and by Wed, I had killed 5 water bugs and one of them was over 2 inches long and only on the floor and along the hallway / bathroom wall , I was really concerned they would get in our things and bring them back home with us. I kept things up off the floor and swept constantly until we left on Saturday. I contacted the managing staff and they contacted me and asked for pictures, which I didnt have because I was more concerned about killing them at the time, but I guess I should have so they would know what to treat them with before the next guest and they said they would do after we checked out on Sat. Only communicated with the staff via text, no one came to the unit after I called the Vacasa staff. The weather brought in a lot of rain and we read the unit had some previous water damages which may be a contributor to the bugs as well but as I have read they won’t go away on their own and I feel the owners should be aware before it gets out of hand. The condo was very nice and when we book a condo, I expect the same comfort as my home, and I don’t have bugs so please take care of the situation for the next visitors. We will probably stay at Edgewater again, and believe this was just a one off situation because we haven’t encountered anything like this in the 21 years we have been coming to the Destin area.
