Enjoy breathtaking sunsets on the 600ft sandy beach of East Grand Traverse Bay with a natural wooded setting. Completely renovated, our studio condo at the shores is spacious and contemporary. Large deck to relax on. Two Flat screen TVs (cable included) in bedroom and family areas. Full bath with vanity area. Kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, stovetop, coffee maker, and electric tea kettle. This beautiful condo, bright and spacious, sits on Grand Traverse Bay in a setting of towering pines, a flowing stream, and a beautiful sandy beach.
Pool access: This is a wonderful location regardless, however frustrating for all involved; this past year, the Resort that owns the pool put some strict policies in place only allowing guests that book directly through them or use it - even we as owners can't use it. That said, the beach is gorgeous, but they also host weddings there sometimes - however, you can walk along the beach to the left, and it extends to a public beach which is lovely too, and you'll always have access there.
There is one little semi-workaround if you really want a pool; you can book a spa treatment at the Grand Traverse Resort, and you'll receive access to the pool and facilities for the rest of the day. Just request the code to access the pool/locker rooms, and you'll be able to use their indoor pool, indoor/outdoor hot tubs, tennis courts, etc.
You also already have access to their shops, restaurants, and golf.

We welcome you with open arms!
Beautiful spot, wonderful location on the water and we loved sunsets from the balcony. The condo is very small and the location is a bit far from Traverse City but we knew that so not a big deal. Easy check in, easy access. Had some issues with the dryer not working and maintenance person never showed and condo wasn't well stocked. You also are not allowed to use the pool that is literally steps from your door so my daughter was upset.
Hard to find building 1. No soap, shampoo, conditioner or gift bottle of celebrate until we called Table on balcony needed cleaning. On the other hand, the view was great and the room was comfortable We enjoyed our stay
We truly enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, comfortable, and beautiful.
Property was just as described. Clean with basic kitchen items and enough clean towels for the stay. Great sunset views from balcony. Unfortunately only able to side water from kitchen table. Comfortable seating on bed and sofa had no water view.
Excellent location and very clean
This unit has an outstanding view of the beach and the sunsets! The unit was very clean but the freezer compartment of the very small refrigerator was filled with ice. I tried to make some ice cubes with an ice cube tray but the water never froze at all. It was hot weather and we wanted ice cubes for our drinks but no luck. The whole refrigerator needs to be replaced.
Beautiful view
The location was delightful, but the kitchen was really not suitable for cooking all your meals there, which was my plan.
I would give this three out of five stars for the price point. There were several small things that the rental company could have addressed that would’ve raised my rating. To it’s credit, the rental was clean and there were several updates. However, the refrigerator had not been defrosted in a long time, and we could not put our cold packs in there or make ice cubes. The TV on the wall was not level. The soap dispenser was apparently low when the cleaning people came last time and they just added water to it and certainly there were no amenities like shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. The bathroom door had a cheap outdoor bolt instead of a normal lock and there were several holes in the door, where apparently they tried to put it in without success. The TV is old and there was no guide for channels, and the remote control had been taped with packing tape therefore we had to go through trial and error to find stations we wanted. I guess the worst part was we got automated emails from the rental company saying if there was anything they could do for us they would be happy to help. However they did not respond to two assistance requests. I think with a little bit of effort on the part of the rental company, (and not much expense) it could’ve been a better experience. It just had a cheap feel to it, there was almost no communication, It wasn’t what I was expecting.
4 Stars Almost perfect! The unit was very well appointed and the view was the best part. So enjoyed sitting out the deck with a glass of wine each evening enjoying the lake! The overall property was gorgeous and well maintained. Loved the surrounding woods and that the location was away from downtown Traverse City and very easy to get to. I am also a VRBO owner, so just a few suggestions for the management company: communication with your office was a bit frustrating as no one got back to me about an early check in request. When I did arrive at almost 4 check on time, the cleaning person was there with her dog sitting on the sofa. There was no laundry soap to start the bedding the day I left. Your tub didn't drain well and I would suggest you get a smart TV for the room. Beautiful place!
I will return and I highly recommend. Close to Downtown Traverse City
A very nice a quiet get away would go back
The room itself was clean and small, as expected. Shower eventually got warm after, but one must let it run for awhile. Cleaning lady came an hour early before check out (straight into room -using our code- without knocking) , but she was nice and said she’d come back. Maybe because it is not “season” yet, but the property itself is in need of great repair. The pool/ beach house area is very run down, not what you’d expect from a Grand Traverse Resort. We came in May when it was 45 degrees and rainy for a soccer tournament, so not there for vacation. But if one were there to get away from it all, it would leave you wanting so much more in terms of cleanliness and aesthetics.
Very nice and clean
