Great central location. Close to groceries and everywhere. Perfect for 2 couples. Antonio was delightful.

Yes- great location- Antonio was excellent-

Lovely apartment, very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Antonio is a great host, he met us at the apartment, and was very quick to respond to questions before and during our stay.A good location to visit the city, however the big downside is a lot of noise, both from other residents in the building and from the street, which goes on well into the night and starts up very early morning.

We were happy with our stay. The apartment was nice and clean. We were within walking range to most places we visited. I will concur with previous reviews regarding the level on noise from the street. You definitely have to keep the doors and shutters closed to minimize the noise from the street. This is a good choice for accommodations while visiting Barcelona.

The location couldn’t have been better. Very easy to get to many places. We mostly walked. Antonio was easy to work with and hel d make our stay good.

Antonio's flat is ideally situated in the heart of the city, walking distance to the Barcelona Cathedral and Casa Batllo, and many other major landmarks, as well as places to eat. There is a large supermarket across the street that was very useful for getting supplies, and a nearby cafe, also across the street, that had delicious meals for breakfast, called Novela. Antonio was a very acccommodating host, allowing one friend staying with us to bring her luggage to the apt early to drop it off when she arrived in the morning. He was also extremely prompt in his replies to any questions that we sent him about the apt, or about how to get around the city. He even booked separate early morning taxis for us and for our friends to get to the airport and the train station, respectively, when it was time to leave. We enjoyed the lovely space to relax and rest in the evenings, and appreciated the Nescafe coffee-maker, with tablets to make our morning coffee. We would choose to return to this flat without question, if we have an opportunity to visit Barcelona again! Our stay was entirely positive.

Great location but a little bit of street noise.

Great property right downtown. Easy walk to everywhere. So close to the street that it could be loud-but you get used to it. Overall it was a great family vacation.

Nice place. Good location. Very plain decorating and furniture, but did the job.

Pros: The apartment is in an older building with a lot of charm - high ceilings, parquet wood floors, wood doors and millwork - located in a really nice, leafy neighborhood surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Perfect location for walking to many city attractions, and also close to metro stations for further destinations. Cons: Noise from surrounding apartments and lots of street noise. In particular, the front bedroom and living room face the street with balconies and large, old windows, so pedestrian and traffic noise is quite loud, even late at night. Kitchen amenities, furniture and paint could use a refresh, and TV in living room is too small, with poor sound quality, to properly enjoy a movie at the end of a long day out on the town. Overall, a 4.5 out of 5, with points off for some details noted above.

We really enjoyed our stay as the property was in a great location that was central to everything. The check-in was super easy and the place was also very clean. The air conditioning was also a major plus.
